i answered and they didnt say anything all i heard was laughing in the backround.  what is this?

I get calls from this number too, no one says anything when I answer, just silence on the other end.

They call 2 or 3 times a day. They leave no message on our voice mail, when we answer there is no response.

I called this number back and was told it was a financial institution looking for me.  They had my name but could not pronounce it because of their foreign dilect.  Asked that my name and number be removed from their list immediately. Calls were coming at 8am - 9pm daily.

This number started calling me yesterday morning at 7am.  It called about 13 times while I wasn't home and left dial tones on my answering machine.  Then I answered it at 9:45pm and it was just silence.  But I could hear somebody breathing.  They just wouldn't talk.  Now they're calling again today.  It's 1:45pm and this number has already called me 7 times since 7 am.  Juveniles!

They call from this # several times a day.  I called back to tell them to STOP calling us.  It stopped for a couple of days and has started up again!!

I received this call at 0851 and caller asked for Gary, but connection was bad and I hung up. No call back yet.

After several phone calls for several days... if the machine answers they hang up, if I answer they say nothing but you can hear background noise and breathing. I phone the number back. A woman name Jessica answered and after I gave her my number she told me they were looking for someone with a name not even close to anyone who has ever lived here. I told her so and she said she would report it and that our call might be recorded for quality assurance. She said I shouldn't received any more calls. We shall see.

Have been rec'g calls from this number with no message.  Called the number and got a message to 'call back during business hours'.

This is ALLIED Interstate a Debt Collection Agency,However they outsource there work and its hard to understand the indian operators,if these people would speak ENGLISH it would be better.

This number has been on caller ID for several days now.  I just answered and there was a pause.  Then a foreign man told me that he was calling be about my past due bill with Double Day Books for $81.49.  I told him I have never had an account with this company.  He suddenly hung up on me.

I believe this is also a fraud as my wife would answer, they would say they had some kind of offer and try to ask for her bank account number. most recently, they have been calling saying they are a collection agency. My wife was very upset and asked to talk to a supervisor, after hanging up on him, someone called back. I answered the phone, and when they heard a man's voice, they hung up the phone.

they called me at 2032 est and first asked my wife questions.Then I called them back and asked why they were calling and how did you get my unlisted number(I work for the police/fire/ems)First I told not asked them to remove me from their list and then asked for a supervisor,after being on hold I advised them I would keep calling them back and also make a report of the incident if they refused to give me some info on why their calling me.After a little back and forth they told me they were a branch of a skip tracer looking for my sister who I have not spoke with in years and lives in a different state.

I am so tired of getting these calls.  I usually don't even answer the phone.  When I do answer, often they say nothing.  One time they did put me on hold and a computer voice told me to wait for the next available agent.  I am glad to know what others have been experiencing.   HOW do they get away with this??  We are supposed to be on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Also getting this number calling and leaving no message on answering machine. When I answer I hear talking and laughing or just breathing. No person answers when I say hello or who is calling. We are on the do not call list too and can not get this number to stop calling.

Called this morning with a very heavy Indian or pakistany accent asked for my married daughter, who has never lived at this number.

Since he refused to identify the company he worked for other than a "financial institution" I refused to provide any information.  He left a call back number of 866-235-3868, which when searched on sounds like the same location.

Reading a lot of postings it seems that broken English is all that is spoken there, makes you wonder if they are even located in the US.

I have also received numerous phone calls from this number. I have calle the number back and they refused repeatedly, to verify who they are. They will say they are a financial institution. My number is also unlisted.

This number called my sister in law house and asked for me.  When i called them back they would not tell me who they were..i asked again what this call was about and they refused to tell me...i told them not to call back and that i dont want anything from them...he asked for my number and then i refused to give it to him and then he got upset....said he could not help me until i gave my number..told him i dont need his help and hung up
