This company called looking for Lan Wong, a person who does not live at this number. We have had the number for three years.

I have had repeated calls from this number over the last week and a half with no messages left.

When I answered today, the person asked me to "identify yourself".  

When I asked who was speaking and from what company, the person said "Myla from NCN".

I asked what NCN was and if I didn't get an answer I would hang up.  The person again asked me to identify myself.

I hung up.

I googled and found that they are a collection company in Canada. I have received no bills from any company asking for payment.  I don't know what the collection company wants and I do not want to give out personal information, including my name.

Myla from NCN called me the other day about a truant bill that hadn't been paid ?
Awestruck that the company that they were referring to had been already paid , How and why are they calling people ? I figure this is some sort of scam . So beware and do not release any info to these snakes. Or at least get some insurance on your account and watch the wild ride they take you for!

got a call from this place today we have no outstanding bills anywhere wouldnt give them any info  and they would not verify that they even owened that phone number

Rings once and hangs up, every damn day!

I too have been recieving these calls owe nothing too anyone so they will not get my reply at all....

I have had two calls from these people and they say its imperitive
we call them, but they do not say who they are calling for only the name
of their company and the phone number and what time we can call them
back. I am sorry but I do not owe anyone a red cent and I am not calling
them back. They come up as unknown on my call display so that tells ya
something!!

this company has been calling my cell phone number for the pass week and not leaving a message....ya i have call display but i also work nights, so if they arent gonna call me during the day or leave me a message then i will not be answering my phone when im at work....leave  message that i can understand and maybe i will return the call...other than that STOP CALLING ME

I keep getting calls on my machine saying that it is imperitive that I call NCN back immediately. Dont what this is about. Does anyone know?

Deleted this number after Googling to check validity...we've been getting quite a few like this one. Most don't leave messages on the answering machine; this is unsettling. How many may actually get hooked by this message??

Got the same thing as everyone here.  They call EVERY DAY, ask to press 1 to speak to someone, but always becomes a voice mail.  They are calling my cel phone so it is extra annoying!  Anyone knows how to block a call on a cel phone?

A friend was getting calls to reply to this number.  Cautious I googled NCN and came up with a bill collections agency in Canada.  I went to their contact page to check to see if the phone number was theirs, it isn't.  Their toll free number is a 1-800 number not a 1-866.  

Appears that someone is using an established name to try and scam folks into false collections payments.  Now the fact that their number is comming up as unknown name unknown number means nothing.  Legitimate collections agencies also use this tactic to avoid being identified by the recipient.

But do the research if you don't believe me.  go to the website for NCN and check their contact numbers for yourself.  That number is NOT listed.  If you pay these guys anything, you just got taken for a ride

These people annoy me.  If I answer, I get a recorded message about my "choices".  If I get a voicemail, the same thing.  They do NOT identify themselves and I don't want them calling me.  What should I do?

Got a call from them today saying they were calling on behalf of Doubleday asking me to give my address as they cannot give confidential info without verifying they are speaking to the right person. I told them I did not give confidential info over the phone to 800 numbers. The lady was very rude.I asked to speak to supervisor as I wanted to know what this was in reference to. He was even more rude and told me to go change the Canada privacy laws. I called Doubleday and asked about it. I used to have an account with them. Maybe I forgot to pay for a book. She said no and these people were not affiliated with Doubleday and it was a scam. She reported it and congratulated me on not giving any info. BEWARE!!! Check with the company they are representing!!! Don't give any info!!!

I have also been getting consistent calls from this number every month. The message is always the same, NCN, imperative that we call. I refuse to contact a company that will not identify themselves properly or provide more information. They will not be getting any call backs from myself.

These [***] started calling me while I was away with my family on vacation.... very annoying. Hopefully Karma will cause them much pain.

I called back and some guy answered, i asked which company this was and he said NCN, i asked what kind of company this was and he said if you give me your name and information, i can tell you exactually why we are calling you.  I again asked what kind of Company NCN was and what NCN stood for, he said it was the name of his company and kept insisting on getting my name and information.  I was calling from a different number and he asked if this was the number his company called, i said good bye and hung up.
