I was checking to see my available balance in my checking account and saw that I had a negative balance and the only information that was listed was this tel #.  I call the number and of course I get some Indian guy named "Brian". He said that I signed up for a loan with Quick pay Day Now (I have never heard of these people) and that part of their guaranteed funding program is to pay them $30..some mess, I still don't understand what they were doing.  I explained to them that I did not authorize any type of payment and they had no right to try to withdraw those funds from my account.  as he was cancelling whatever it is they have in the system, he was trying to get me to sign up for a damn Visa card with a $500 limit!!!! as I not so nicely cursed him out about trying to sale me more [***] when I ma trying to get him to me out of their system completely it makes absolutely no sense and its obvious his comprehension of the English language as horrible as the company's business practices

I just went through the same thing today!!!!  I went OFF!  10-20 days to return my money, which you took unauthorized?  Really?!?!?  Crazy!

I just had the same thing done to me I called the 866 number and when I told them i was going to have this reversed and file a report against them they told me they would give me $100 to$300 dollar to my accoutn within the next 30 days that i didnt have to pay back and also send me a $500 gift card to me as well. something aint right there

Just happened to me too! The # I had on my statement was 866-233-8422. Tried to go to the website and guess what... invalid address. Gee wonder why. They wouldn't even tell me at first who they even were, gave same bs about getting me out of payday loans, which I don't even have!

I just check my bank account today and noticed "Funding Assurance " took out $30.00 from my acct. They say it was a membership for a loan you get and don't have to pay back. Yea right..

It just happened to me. I called the number 866-761-1124 and got voicemail from "Customer Care" saying, "call back during normal business hours". It's the first line of business I will be be addressing on Monday morning. Thank God I didn't end up with a negative balance, nonetheless, they're going to give me my money back!!! This is CRAZY!!!

An unauthorized $30 fee charged to my checking account

this company took the 30.00 out of my bank, I did get charged for nsf !  and I got the bullcrap of 10-20 days for the refund....  told her I want a supervisor and of course there was not one available.. asked where they were located and she could not give you that either... told her you have my info, I want yours and i will be calling back daily.  bull !
I did not talk to anyone to approve this either !

They are at it again.  Checking my bank account and found they had debited $30.00.  Called the telephone number and they said I signed up for payday loan protection.  After many minutes of telling this person over and over again, I had not signed up for any service, I demanded to speak to a supervisor.  At this point they promised a credit to the account with an e-mail to confirm.  They are not listed and the website they gave www.fundingassurance.com is bogus.

I had the same thing done to me today and i am going to sue their [***] about taking money out of my account without my authorization. This has gotta stop ASAP!!!!

My acct was hit with the same $30 debit from 866-761-1124. It also caused an overdraft to my accout, which cost me an additonal $35.  I also never applied for any payday loan.  When I called this 866 # and finally got a live person.  I was also told the same story about a one time membership fee and that I would be reimbursed.  They even gave me a bogus refund confirmation # and that I would receive an e-mail from customersupport.com.I work for the bank that my acct is with, so I put in a fraud claim and they are investigating.  I am also going to take further action against them.  I Can only imagine how much money they have swindled people for.

This happened to me THIS morning..30 bucks and I never authorized anything!! Yelled and screamed at them demanding my money back before I call the authorities and my bank...they said they would return it in 7 to 10 days with a confirmation number and trying to sell me offers AT THE SAME TIME.....Omg get a life you crooks.

I got the same thing done to me. I call the phone number of  1-866-761- 1124 and they told me the same story about a one time membership. I am going to put in a fraud claim too. Try ing to put these people out of business.

The company name is FundingAssurance.com. Its a scam and from what I can find they never return the money. The banks are of little help too. You need to call the Federal Trade Commission at 1 (877) 382-4357 and file consumer complaint. You should also call your states Attorney General to file complaint. I'm also on ScamBook.com where you register and fill ALL information. I have totally been ripped off by this company called Funding assurance.  I have called every day for the last 10 15 days..the same guy from India says they are working on it...he says he is in customer service.  When I asked for his company name he said he did  not have one just customer service.  I did get out of him that they are located in Reno Nevada.  I am going to contact the Attorney General of the state and register a complaint.  WHO are these people???? Are they allowed to go into checking accounts and extract money..then LIE and not return it...ITS a huge scam...

This same thing happened to me.  I hadnt used my checking acct since June 17 and poof I am now over drawn.  They took $30 and $25 from my acct.  I am on the phone with my bank atm.

Sorry I was incorrect.  They only took $30 from my acct.  The other $25 was an overdraft.  But this has now been reported as fraud through my bank and should be cleared up within 45 days.  HOPEFULLY

So has anyone had any luck getting their money back?  Either from this horrible company or through their banks?

If so please let me know so I have some hope.
