Phishing scheme - "Netspend" asks you to call with your debit card information to verify possible fraud. Don't do it.

Same deal... never heard of netspend and they called me about a pre-paid debit card (I've never owned one in my life)... nor would I be dumb enough to give them my phone number

Thanks guys! Just got the same exact message. I don't have a Netspend card either. I don't ever call back any toll free calls. If it's important my bank, CC, or any other VIP thing...they'll text or email me also to verify. Thanks!!

Scary these companies are getting ahold of cell phone numbers now. Thanks to new smartphones you can block numbers.

Just received a call from Netspent about my prepaid debit card.  I don't have one.  Will not return the call.  I do hope others are caught by them.

Total scam. "Netspend" called me and asked for my card number. I've never owned a debt card in my life, nor do I have any idea how they got my number.
