That is Franklin Collection Agency.  I think they are legit.

It they are legit, then they need to change their tactics. Harrassing phone calls are illegal.

If you get a call from them, file a report with the FCC.

Rec'd call Urgent to call FSC - lady answered with children in the background and dog barking. Claims she was looking for someone who I have no idea.  She said FSC was a collection agency - no collection agency has kids and dogs in the background. I told her she was being reported and she said she'd remove my number but please don't report them.  My thoughts - they are being reported to the phone company tomorrow morning.

These people continue to leave messages for me to return their calls but, when I do, no one answers. I'm certain that I don't own anyone money and I don't know who these people are. I don't know who to call if I continue to get these harassing calls.
Anybody got an idea as to how to stop this nusance?

they keep calling, saying:
"I am not a telemarketer. You must call 866 779 8954 for an important business opportunity"

There was a guy that called this morning while I was asleep.  I work third shift and get tired of these calls.

He said for me to call him back NOW and call him back TODAY.  He talked like someone that was very angry.  The caller ID said 909-502-9110 and the name that was under that number only said "incoming call 1".  But he gave the number for me to call him back as 1-866-779-8954.

I think I might call the phone company in the morning a report harrassing phone calls.  I wonder if they will put something on my phone to stop these calls.  I am on a "do not call" registry but the calls still keep coming in.

Call came into my cell phone and just a message saying to call this number but I don 't owe anyone any money

1-866-779-8954: two calls, one from "Kaye" saying she has a "most important business matter to discuss and another from a man who said I owed a debt. ...Can someone explain? I owe no debt of which I am aware....Anthony Wrifford

I would like to know how these people got my private number.  I have no relation to the person they were looking for other than being his neighbor for a number of years. They should not be bothering other people.  PS -- they should check the obituary's, the guy been dead for over 5 years!

I get calls from two of these clowns at work who are recorded voice mails. One of them is Kay and the other guy claims to be Don Parker. He sounded like he was disguising his voice. At first I thought it was a friend goofing around. Then he told me his client Jim Jackson has tried to get a hold of me and to hit 7 or call 866-779-8954. I have put my work number on the do not call registry. I am afraid to even answer the phone by name anymore. I do not know whether they are phishing or trying to get a hold of some other worker or just have the wrong number. I don't ever call them back but I am tired of receiving calls from them several times a week.

Yes it is a collection agency and they are relentless and keep calling me at work as well. I'm getting ready to fax them to tell them to stop.

Yes, the Company is FRANKLIN COLLECTION SERVICES INC. and the number to return the call was 866-779-8954. They were looking for a person I have no clue is. However, my phone response will be "I have noted the call,Please remove me from you calling list and if you call back, I will report you to the appropriate agencies." After receiving a new phone number, after many years of not having a landline, I am so tired of receiving calls for losers who don't pay their bills!

These people call everyday, I don't owe any one any money. They have even called as late as 9 O'clock. How do I get them to stop. It's been about 2 weeks of everyday calling! AHH sooo frustrating.

Getting this call also a few times a week. Like the rest,  don't know what it's about. Today the guy called with angry voice and said to press 9 to talk to him now, and he left the 1-866-779-8954 and said this matter must be cleared up today. I find it strange that they all have started talking before my message on the machine if finished. Never know who is calling and why? I have saved the message on my machine to turn over to phone company. Hope they stop soon!

Got a call from FCS -Recording says:  "THis is Mark Jones. i have left several messages!! You need to call me immediately at this number 1-866-779-8954"

We have gotten several calls from this number, from a man who sounds like he is out to get us, very angry. If this is a legitimate call, why does he not introduce himself and state the company he is representing and the purpose for the call - in a nicer and professional manner? I do not return the calls either. The caller ID on my phone actually showed 662-690-2284, F C S I. I googled this number as well, and saw the same type comments regarding rude and unprofessional manners. The call was from Tupelo, Mississippi.

I keep getting calls from a number of different people saying to call them back immediatlely, sometimes they sound angry some times they say it is just very important to call them back at 866-779-8954. They never say what the call is in regards to, only that it is urgent I return the call. I am calling the phone company tomorrow to see how I can stop these calls. You would think they would get tired of calling since I have never returned their calls.I wonder what their scam is?
