Received a letter from Awards Verification Center. Researched online. Looks to be a scam

I have been receiving calls and a letter from AVC travel. Signed Susan Murray awards director, claiming I have won 49000 cash, or new mercedes etc. Its a scam! Beware! Throw all letters from this company or anything with her name on it away! Scam Alert!

I recd 5/25/12 from AVC, Susan Murray - I won $49,000 - this is a scam they run to get you to buy into time shares. Looks like they used to use a different phone number as I found some info under AVC Travel, 6321 blvd 26, ste 450, North Richland Hills, Tx but the number they used back in 2008 is 800-309-8595.   Beware of this scam mail . This started with a raffle for the Silverleaf Resorts and you have to pay a $50 non refundable deposit. I am reporting this to the Illinois Attorney General.

I have won previously a trip to orlando for 4 days and 3 night eith $800 dollars of shopping spree and payed my taxes on the end of the year. It might be a scam it might not in life their are risk and you have to go for it. However, always be carefull on given your information if you do feel not right. Me personal I do believe...
