Got a call on my new cell phone from Argent Financial services...for a different name. I've only had this phone a week. I know that I don't have any debt with them.

Also got a call on my new cell phone (haven't even gotten the first bill yet!) but received it while I was at work so was unable to take the call.  I have no outstanding debt to receive collections calls from, so I believe it's probably a scammer rather than a legitimate call.

Zombie debt collector or scam. Never answer these types of calls.

Caller claims her name is Alexis Cheroff and refused to identify the company she is employed with.  No other information.  She apparently has the wrong number and refused to accept this.  Reported this call to the FTC, DNC Registry complaint.

I received a call from this number within minutes of activating a new cell phone with AT&T.  I did not answer the call and I have received two additional calls since.

I get a call from here every few days. When I answer there is a recording saying my call will be answered shortly and when someone answered all she said was "Hello" and I said hello back, then she hung up. So I called back, same person answered and I asked who she was calling from and she hung up again. Has to be a scam.

I keep getting calls for people who have my last name, but that I have never heard of.  It's like they're guessing at who might live here.  Irritating as hell.

My home phone is forwarded to my cell phone, so I didn't have the caller id name showing.  Let it go to voice mail and a message was left for someone with my last name, but not my first name.  This unknown person was supposed to call them back right away.  Woman leaving the message sounded really annoyed.  I went home and checked my caller id list... and the name showing is...

Just like that, all caps.  Amazing.  What the heck happened to the Do Not Call list that I am on in triplicate?

received a call from this number.  Answered.  Heard someone typing, said hello 3 times, then they hung up.    
Called the number back - finally got someone-  this is actually a medical collections agency.

received a call from this number, answered and she told me her name was rose. i asked the company and she said "i said my name is rose!" so i hung up...very strange

Caller leaves a message for Jill Torrence. Not my name, but similar. I'm not going to return the call, but I don't want to keep paying for calls. My number is registered on Do Not Call List, so this is irritating.

I have filed a complaint for this number through the Do Not Call Registry.
I verified that my number is still on their registry.  This number called around 8:30PM...we had just gone to bed since we get up early for work.  My husband asked the caller what he could help them with?  Who did they want?  They said it was a personal matter.  Since the caller ID said "TELEMARKETING" all in caps, he told them to remove our number from their list.  He hung up and they called right back!  He asked them the same questions and they responded the same way...he got mad this time and hung up.  Now this morning, they have called again at 9:18am...I sleep in on Saturdays so I had just gotten up...didn't bother to answer.  Someone in an above post mentioned that they are a medical collections agency...if so, why would the caller ID say Telemarketing? Most people won't bother to answer when they see that word on their ID which would make it harder for them to collect from people.  Anyway, it's all very annoying!  And nothing comes up when I do a reverse number lookup...unless I want to pay for information!

Got several calls from them.  Also with TELEMARKETING for the caller ID.  They never left a message.  When I finally was here to answer, they did not identify themselves, asked for me or my husband by first name (that is how our phone is listed) I asked who she was (she was very rude).  In return she asked for my date of birth!  I don't think so!  I told her I don't give out personal information over the phone.  She said "we'll keep calling"  and hung up on me. Okay...?  Sure wish we could block these 800-866 etc numbers.

I received a call from this toll free number with no Caller ID info, and the speaker claims to be from a company called FIRST SOURCE FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS debt collections.

Mom got a call from that same number. It went to voice mail and the message said it was for me from a jean rockwell and to call her back...when we did...we got nothing. I really do believe this is scam....

Calling for wrong person

I am receiving calls from this number too... saying I owe for outstanding debt.  They wanted to know all kinds of personal information... they say for personal reasons (name, address, dob, ssn).  I refused of course and said I would not be giving them any of this information and that they needed to let me know why they were calling me.  They said they could not without this information and said they would call me at a later date and hung up.  BEWARE!!!

I work for a law firm and my client's Summerlin Hospital bill is in collections with this place..They seem really weird..but it's a legitimate debt collector..I'd suggest finding out who the debt was with and settling it with the medical provider yourself.
