They call my house three times a day and when we answer, they say nothing.

866-812-6662:  This number belongs to a coporation that deals with the assimilating of VA loans and assisting Veteran in obtaining VA Refinancing, quickly.  I almost did business with them, but declined the offer.  They now do not stop calling me.  If you would like to call them to cease the calls you can visit their website, or turn them into the BBB.  https://mortgageinvestors.com/index.php

They refuse to stop calling me. They have no caller ID name which should be illegal these days.  If it weren't for home security, and satellite Tivo, I would not even have a home phone line!

they just called my cell phone.  Same deal..no one there.  I thought at first, it was an auto-dialer looking for people answering their phones for telemarketing, but I've not heard of them doing that with known cell numbers....

Would not say anything when I answered.  Why is that?

we got a calll and it was from Amerigroup mortgage corp. stating they could refi for 1.75% cheaper rate, didn't state fix it was a fixed rate or ARM

They called 6 times in a row, i redialed them told them to stop calling and they still try to do sales pitch.  Then i get the manager and she is very rude and she trys the sales pitch.  I gave them my number to take off, but by the way the conduct themselfs i doubt they will stop.

Constant harassing calls.  Company is Mortgage Investors Corp. 6090 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33707.  It's a mortgage / investment scam targeting soldiers and veterans with VA loans.  They have 132 Better Business Bureau Complaints!!!  Multiple complaints to FL Attorney General Consumer Protection Division.

(I wonder how many more endless days I was in harrassment, if I hadn't had finally picked up!)
I only attempted to answer the last one because I figured a company calling me this much has to be trying to settle a debt. So I was a bit confused to find out it was my mortgage company (or so that is what she told me).
Here is the conversation:
Caller: Is the homeowner there?
Me: In regards to what?
Caller: Your Mortgage! (rudely)
Me: (confused) Okay, what company?
Caller: MIC! (rudely)
Me: Alright, I'm the homeowner.
Caller: Do you have a VA loan? (or something to that effect.)
Me: You should know that if your are my Mortgage company!
Caller asked again about VA loan. (rudely)
Me: What is this call about? (insistantly)
Caller: (RUDELY and SNARKELY), WELL YOU HAVE A GOOD DA. . .
I hung up the phone.
Needless to say, I was so angry! I called my Mortgage company, from the phone number on my bill, and talked to a representative. He heard me out, was also puzzled by it, and made sure I was taken off of any calling lists. All very KINDLY!

I don't think this phone number represents MIC. Somehow they know who you mortgage with, and throw it out there to sound official.

That is all I have to say.

P.S. I really hate calls before 10 am and after 5 pm. Not to mention the fact the frequency of the calls!

ok so first off im 14, and these damn ppl called me last night at one and again like two minuets ago wanting to talk to my mom it is so [***] but they were nice : )

Just don't answer the phone...they call me too I do not answer.....

I have received 5-6 days a week/ 3 to 4x@day calls, with various reasons to have called.
Reporting to phone call, no change!!!

They started calling me 2 weeks ago.  The phone will ring with their number on the caller ID but then it hangs up when I pick up the call.  I called the number back and thats when they do their sales pitch.  If they ask if you are a veteran, tell them NO!  I get 3-6 calls a day and they say it takes a few days to get off their calling list, they are freaking liars, it's been two weeks.  I'm calling the BBB.

I have been receiving calls from this number, sometimes 3 - 4 times a day. Twice I have answered and told the representative to cease calling me as there isn't anything they can do for me but they keep calling. They are trying to convince me to refinance and I have told them I just refinanced and I had a great rate. I told them what my rate was and that it was fixed and that they couldn't get me any lower but that just fueled there fire and they keep calling.

Call the number back and DEMAND that your number be removed immediately. This will require that you give them the number you wish removed.

They will not take NO for an answer, which normally is a good quality in a salesperson. However, when they start getting pushy, that's a different story. For a company that claims they are only out to "help the veteran" and "have been in business since 1936", taking NO and moving on should be up on the list of the polite thing to do. Could go a long way.  Stay away from this company. They are predators.
