we have No out standing balance with any person or company; do anyone know why we are getting this call ? also our ph# is registered with "do not call" list. Finally i made a call to this company and they talked about a man name "Curtis" whom i never heard of!!hopefully after today they are going to stop call my number.

we get this call and when they say call back it is a differennt number
may be a debt collector but hard to understand the perosn and why give a different phone numbert

They had the gall to call at 8 AM and not leave a message! I don't care who they are, have some respect. Call after 9 AM like normal people.

Computer generated message to call them concerning my credit card.  Which I have no outstanding debt on.

Not only has called my phone, but called my mother-in-law's house phone to look for me. I don't even know my mother-in-law's phone number, so there is some obvious stalking going on. Never once have I applied for any credit cards using that phone number. Im not even married yet, so she's technically not my mother in law yet. They even told her they were a debt collector, so she thinks financial issues are going on which she shouldnt know about in the first place. Definitely thinking about filing a lawsuit.

just got a letter from mercantile adjustments bureau llc telling me i have an outstanding bill with kohls department stores but its not even under my name that i have the account under and the account is not active  the phone no for the company is different fron this no. a scam

I received a phone call from this number and they left a voicemail saying " Hello my name is Dorothy Cash I have an important message from Mercantile Adjustment Bureau LLC. This call is from a debt collector. Please contact me at 1.866.816.2891 ext. 3223. When calling please use reference number xxxxxxxx." I am not putting the ref # but it is 8 digits. I have NO debt to be collected so this is a SCAM.

And another number blocked on my phone.  Thanks for the information on this site.  I am tired of getting calls froms people I don't know.

A man named Bob called asking for me but said he was from my college I attended last semester. Knew it was weird once he asked me to verify with my home address instead of school ID number.

Gor a call from 866-816-2891 from a Cynthia.   This number is Merchantile Adjustment.   Says they are calling to about an ourtstanding bill.   Doesn't say who she is calling for. but tells me to return the call to 877-770-6325 x3992.  Why would there be 2 phone numbers unless they are scammers.   I pay all my bills and have nothing outstanding.

I have no outstanding debt, therefore this caller is just dialing randomly.  We are on the do not call list and still get these calls.

Merchantile adjustment called me 830am March 28 2019. A female asked for my husband, who died in 1991. Not sure what game they are playing. Scam
