No-one there when I answered.  Such an annoyance!!

I've been getting calls too. It seems like they call every day now. I haven't picked up, but they hang up when they hear that it's the answering machine. I think I'll pick up one of these days and tell them to get a life!

Did a little more research. 866-822-9401 is a Bank of America phone number. Evidently they call about "new products and services" using this line. If you call it back, press 1, then enter your phone number and you will be placed on a do-not-call list.

Telemarketing should be illegal. Maybe one day...

annoying.  Won't leave a message, won't leave a name when asked or wht the call is about.  All they do is hang up when you start asking questions.  Tried to call back for over an hour and got nothing but a busy signal.  
Caller ID showed toll free service.

Likewise they call at least once a day sometimes more, no message!  I will not answer when this number shows up.

Ugh, it's been months now that they have been calling. Early in the morning before 9 and into the evening many times a day. I am on the DNC list. Its getting to be too much.

Another site says this # belongs to BOA also. I am thinking of closing my account with them.

We just got a call from that number and a man with an obvious black accent spoke. He claimed he was from BOA and that someone is trying to access our banking account and to call this 1-888 number. It's completely fraudulent!!! Next call you get, tell them to F-OFF.

These dumb ass people are calling me at work. I was under the impression that if you told them not to call  then they have to listen or you can take the company to small claims court. The only problem is that you have to prove that you told them to stop. Usually with a fax or a certified letter. Any thoughts?

I got a call today but did not answer it. I called back like mentioned above, chose option 1 and then followed the prompts to be added to the Do Not Call list. It said that it will be completed withing 30 days and will apply to all Bank of America companies. Hopefully it works.

This phone number calls my business 3-4 times a day, there is never anyone there and it hangs up as soon as I answer and never leaves a message when I don't.  This needs to stop.

Call is from Bank of America and I have never been their customer. They called today although it seems I used the automated service mentioned above to be removed from their list more than 30 days ago. How ironic that banks are calling and trying to solicit customers in this economy.

I just received another call from 866-822-9401.  It was a telemarketer from Bank of America trying to sell in home appliance service protection or so he said.  I declined the offer so we will see if they continue to call.
