I could not understand this person has called two times. I have no idea what he needs or wants????????

If this caller wants to speak with me - he needs to learn English.  I finally hung up after trying for three minutes to get the name of his company.  REDICDULOUS!!

they first called a family member, at an old address. who thought it an important business call for me. passed the info along. i called it to see. they would not identify their company, only that they were a financial company. i also tried several times to get the name of the company. He kept changing the subject by asking me for the number i was called at, and for my last name. finally i told him i was not giving him any info, unless he answered my questions first. he would not, so i told him, good bye. 03 19 2008

They are breaking the law! Obscene comments. Would not give name of company or phone number. They said that they were for Lowes credit and that Lowes had sent this to coolections. I finaly got the name of cmpany from supposedly the manager  which is Allied Interstate. I am going to report them the the Attorney Generals Office.

For the last 6-7 weeks, I have received calls from this number on a near-dailey bases, only to be met with silence or a connection to another telephone(there is a "ringing" soon after I answer"hello"). Middle Eastern voices, the most recent contact(early Saturday afternoon, 19 April 2008) was from a Lisa Jones or Johns.

The telephone contact is seeking information about Anita Matlow. I am confused as to how the company gained acess to my telephone number: I haven't had comtact with Ms. Matlow in about ten years.

Someone has been calling here every few hours from the number 866-825-4574.
We've asked them to stop but they refuse and argue.

They called me today about an old debt belonging to my late son.. I became suspicious when they gave me a phone and fax number, but said they had no mailing address.. so how could they receive payments?  Of course, no address means you can't send them cease and desist letters..

first, when phone is answered there's a ringing on the other end, a middle eastern voice then asks to speak to me( @ my work) they then give this # 1-866-825-4574 and say it is of great importance and they must speak to me today. no one can ever understand the name they give, they have been asked to stop calling me at work, but this does not stop them!!!!!!!!!they call at least twice a day. they will not say why they are calling or what it concerns.

can not understand what they are saying.  i keep telling them not to or explain what they want. I have on idea what they mean because it does not apply to me.

Got a call on our recorder, someone with a deep indian accent.  Had to play the message several times to understand it.

If it's one thing I ******DON'T**** do it's call a solicitor back so he can hard sell me something I don't want or need.

that person call so many times to us. but he wanted to talk to my mom. so stupid. i told him that my mom dont speak english so he can find an translater but he kept on calling and telling other people to call.
Who the heck would call so late at the middle of the night and so many times, he cant even speak english properly!

A person with a heavy Indian accent called my number looking for my husband's daughter.  She has never lived with us and is in her mid-30's.  This person refused to tell me what the call was in regard to other than "business."  I pressed him further by asking the name of the company he worked for and he said he was not allowed to give out that information.  That, of course, is a ridiculous lie.  I asked him again what company he works for and was met with a bunch of double talk as to why he would not tell me his company's name.  So, I said, if you can't help me, then I can't help you and hung up.  THIS CANNOT BE A LAWFUL, LEGITIMATE PHONE CALL.

I received a phone call today from someone with a heavy accent and I could not understand a word.  I did research on the internet and I see that everyone is complaining about the same type of call. Who are this people?

I received a call from this 866-825-4574 saying it was an important business matter but would not give the name of the company...a very heavy accent and did not speak very good english.

Just got a message, they called my late fathers cousin looking for me...acted like they knew me...after reading all these comments no way am I calling them back.

They called my sister's house asking for me. I have NEVER lived with my sister. They were asking for a contact phone number for me. Wouldn't give my sister any further details. She said he had an middle eastern accent. BTW: they called her house and let it ring forever each time they called.

Got phone call that comes out "private."  Man with heavy accent is on the other end and asks for a brother who does not reside in my home.  He claims his name is Frank Newman and he's with Quality Insurance.

Googled number and got this information.  Allied has been calling my home for weeks now.

I just received a call from my mom because she thought there was an urgent message for me at this number 1-866-825-4574. I asked her who the person was, and all she said was that a Sam Hunter said it was extremely urgent that he spoke with me, and when she asked him what company he was from and what exactly he needed, he said it was a personal business matter. I looked at my phone's missed calls log (I do not pick up calls I don't recognize), and I saw that this number WAS in fact a number that called almost 4 times a day. She told me that the guy did have an accent and was so persistent in getting a hold of me. I googled the number, found this webpage, called my mom back and told her to repeat all of this information to the guy if he called again. Strange thing is, I've never used my mom's home phone number on any piece of information, NOR have I ever lived at her address (property is new... have been living on my own for quite some time now).

same indian guy called my house and asked for my son's father. I have been married to my husband for 12 years and he has raised my son since he was 1. My son has not seen his father in 3 years. i asked him how he got my number and he got very rude with me and then questioned me how i knew Darin. All you have to do is tell them to remove your number from their list and tell them that you are recording the coversation. if they call back get the call list from your phone company and report them. this is against the law and you can press charges.

First, I didn't know it was these people until they got my mom's number. I was getting calls on my cell for weeks and it would say retricted and never a voice mail. Last night my mom started getting calls from  John James and she could barely understand him. He told her, from what she got out of it, that if I don't call him back the cops are coming for me and he wanted my social security number. I was leary about this of course so I looked up the number and was taken to all of these posts.. I couldn't believe this..
Again tonight my mom gets in touch with me and this time it's a Kevin Johnson and same thing all over again.. She said it was some Interstate so it brings me right here to this again..
How do they get unlisted numbers is what I'd like to know? My mom is disabled and now being harassed.. Something has to be done about these people..
