I got a call from an unknown number telling me to call this number because I was going to be served papers at home and they just wanted to make sure I was home. When I called the number I spoke with someone named John Titus and I was told that I was being sued for a cash advance I didn't remember doing in 2003. They had some information that made me think it was legitimate, but after I hung up I wasn't so sure. They put me on hold to talk to a attorney of some sort and said I could settle the $560 debit for $320 if I paid by the end of this week or it could be thousands if I waited and had to pay attorney and court costs.

What was the outcome? Did you get served?

An unknown number called saying in 2006 i owed fast cash money $57.50 call another number 1-866-831-8295 now so i did Tracy was the ladys name she said  if i don't give my credit card i will be served papers for court i have never received call on this before i was going to pay the money but check smart told me it was a scam so i tried calling them before putting money on my prepaid card talk one more time nobody would answer now they called me today Tracy again using curse words at me telling me i will be served the papers for court she calls one time & gives me 3days to pay i said i guess i won't pay city taxes to pay u being funny

I just got the same call, they wanted to know if I would be home to be served papers. Has anyone actually been mailed or handed anything, or are they just trying to get current info? I did have a couple of payday loans in AZ about 8 yrs ago.

An unknown number called my cell phone, the man said I had to call the above number to find out more information, he then asked if I would be home tomorrow (Thanksgiving day) to be served legal documentation. I have had several calls about some PLS store, & other check cashing places. They seem to have appropriate information, however, I have NEVER had a checking account, so it is impossible for me to have done this. In previous conversations, I did state to them that it was not me & that they need to stop calling. Now they are threatening me with a lawsuit.

Got a call today - the caller id said "Gary Bussie" and the number was 718-524-7904. The guy said he was a process server for my county. He couldn't even pronounce the county name correctly. LMAO!

The number he gave me is 866-831-8295 to call for info. I told him if he really was a process server, that processor server's do not call, they just show up & serve you. I have called my county court house who turned the info in to the AG & they are looking into charges for falsly claiming to be a clerk of the court.

It states this is Amanda Patrick from the  CCR  Associate. There has been a recent case filed against u from a debt and hot checks back in 2007 under your name and social so at this time I am scheduled to issue out legal documentation to your residents as well as to your place of employment. I just wanted to contact u first and verify this information with you. If u have any questions or concerns call CCR Associates immediately at (866)831-8295 and she gave me a case number. Also she stated if I didn't pay within 3 days I will be picked up from my resident or job and will have to do 3 years in jail. She also said I can settle this today by loading a prepaid debit card today and paying them and they won't file on me.So I called IRS and Check Fraud division and they stated that I didn't have any cases against me and if so I would have received notification through the mail as well. So anyone reading please becareful because the way that this so called company explain everything make it seem so real but please don't fall for it because I almost did.

I got a call and they even had my las four didgets of my social security number. They also said I would be served with papers and gave me a case number. This is scarey knowing they have that kind of infromation.

These [***] scammers I'm so tired of these low life [***] trying to get our hard earned money [***] them just let them call me again [***] I think I'm going to call them tomorrow as and tell them what I think.

If you get a call from 1-866-831-8295 hang up. Its a scam. They got $700 from a friend of mine. They are being investigated. They are such idiots they are still working their scam. But their actions are all being watched, so justice will catch up soon!
