Automated call from M&T Bank and said my credit card had suspicious activity. Wanted me to entered the card number.

this is not M&T Bank, it is a voice phishing scam.

do not call back and do no provide your card number.

It was a recording telling me that there was a possible fraud on my credit card and asked the number to be connected to speak to someone . I stupldly gave 3 different credt card numbers until it click to me it could be a fraud.

Recorded message said there was possible fraud on my debit card, instructed me to return the call, and gave me the web address mtb.com, the website of the M&T Bank.  I knew the call was a scam because I have no M&T Bank account or debit card.

Received call and voicemail from this number advising me that there has been suspicious activity on my debit card w/ M&T bank and that I need to return call. I do not have an M&T account. This is definitely a scam.

M&T possible fraud on account which I don't have.

received a call with a recording stating it was the fraud dept from M&T Bank asking for my 16 digit card number so that I could be connected with a representative.  I don't have an account with M&T bank so i entered 16 random number, it commented not valid try again, I entered 16 random numbers again with the same response.  I did this 3 times until finally the recording said when I had the valid number to call them back.  No legit financial institution would do this.  If the incorrect card number is entered repeatedly you are connected with a customer service representative immediately.  Bad scam.

Phishing Scam saying M&T fraud and will lock account.  Caller ID # is not in service when you call it.
