person from this number sent a recipe card from Barbara, saying "trying to reach" and call that number

I received a call from a person called Dena, ext 1414 that it was important that I call her,  she said she worked on behalf of the Ontario Government.  Asked me for my date of birth then proceeded to say I was not the correct person.  Said her company was  E.O.S.  Who would this be??

Was receiving calls from 866-849-9653 every day as they said "On behalf of Ministry of Finance". Called them back and they ask me for my phone # and after that they replied that were trying to reach a different person. What a scam?!!!

These people call me several times a day..I am on a do not call list..I know they are not acting on behalf of the government..they send letters.  I am fed up with it and are going to report them to Bell

yes they are calling on behalf of the government...sort of. they are the collection agency for default student loans. they don't really have your information in total so they fish for it when they call. they tried to get me to give them my address and when i said well you tell me what it is and i will tell you if you are right, they then told me it doesn't work that way. you have to give me your information. i replied, i don't have to give you jack squat over the phone. i hung up.

Same thing with me. They actually asked for my Social Insurance Number for verification.. Not happening
