Called it back and it was a recording simply saing "we tried to contact you earlier but were unsuccessful, we will try to contact you again at a later time" click. Have no clue who it was.

Searched more on the net and found on another site that it's a 'Terasen Gas' number, which makes sense because Im overdue lol.

Call came it at 12:55 pm.  When I answered the call no one was on the line, just dead silence.

Gas company telling us to remove the obstructions from in front of our meter (they actually used the word SNOW, it is now MAY!)

Can't figure out if it is real or hoax.

I Strongly believe this is a scam, Direct Energy or whoever is responsible should not be trusted

Called TWICE!! 10 minutes apart.. everytime I answered the telephone there was dead silence.  I tried to 411 the # but therse no's no business listing found.

for me it was Embridge Gas telling me that my new acct was now going on to budget billing plan...

I recieved a call from this number saying that it was embridge gas, and something about a new account. Do not trust.

It's enbridge not embridge, look it up, still weird.

Received a message advising me that I have a gas payment in arrears. When I called back and an answering machine saying "we tried to contact you earlier but were unsuccessful, we will contact you again later".  It is rediculous and rude bacause I did not use gas at all! How can I have unpaid gas bill?

I get these calls all time . When they call they say "we tried to contact you earlier but we were were unsuccessfull , we will contact you again later . I don't get it

This must be an automated call center, the call I received was from  Source Gas. The message I received, after several calls where they did not respond when I answered, was computer generated.

no one on the the line when I picked up.  Just dead.  Called back and got the same silly recording.  We don't have a gas company at our house and they called on my cell

2 calls about 30 mins apart....did not answer....call was on my cellphone. They did not leave a message.

Call comes in as unknown then the number.  We don't answer ANY call that there is NO NAME.  Sometimes our friends with cel numbers call with no name and we don't answer.  We have an answering machine sooo...

It was washington gas calling to say the acct is on budget plan ...

Interesting...I am reading from other poster that claim that this various gas companies in the US(?)......I live in Ontario, Canada. Which is NOT part of the US. This company is obviously a scam. As we use Enbridge for our gas distribution.
