They call everyday with a bogus excuse like they are ups and want to deliver a package or they have a check for me

Called 6 times in an hour. Left two messages: "Yeah, this is TD Bank, please pick up."
I love people like this, as if [***] isnt hard enough these days.

they started calling me too, starting from yesterday, 11/10/11, they called my next door neighbor, told him they were UPS and have a delivery for me but can't locate me, i have no idea how they could get my neighbors phone number, he came next door and told my mother UPS needed to contact me urgently to confirm my address to deliver a check, (how would UPS know what is inside a package?) then the calls started at my house, they call, let it ring once, then hang up before anyone can reach the phone, and they do that about ten time, then the let it ring long enough for the answering machine to pick up, my mother picked up, the guy went into his story about he was UPS with a check for me, my mother know this sounded like BS so she asked for his supervisors name and number so she could call him back to verify, and he hung up, then he started the same routine again today, from 8:16 am, lots of calls for one ring, then hangs up, then leaves a message, today he says, hello, Wells Fargo, please pick up.  this is a debt collector, and if i find out who they are i will sue them for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

Got a call to day from a man saying he was from Wells Fargo Bank with a free gift of $100.00 for opening a checking account, and wanted to know where I currently banked and what my zip code was. I said I wasn't interested and hung up. He first called my mom who is out of state telling her he was from UPS and trying to deliver a package to me but wasn't able to locate me, he told her he had my address but wanted to know where I worked. Because it was a check that he wanted to deliver. This person needs
to be reported to both UPS and Wells Fargo, for being a scam.

got same call from same number. sounds like older man -
"yeah this is TD bank please pick up"  I reported the number, played the msg, and told fraud dept of tTD bank what eles the google search pulled up in ref to this number.

First Called stating it was Wells Fargo and wanted to know what bank we were using, offered for us to send 200.00 in return they would give us somethin. An hour later called that they were Comcast and we forgot to sign a check so they needed to know what bank we used...What are they doing? What can they do with the information of the bank? I tried to call back and it's a message. I hate these scam artists.

these are bill collectors trying to find the bank where your money is at. soon your bank will be ordered to clear any one of your accounts of the funds to be collected from a judgment against you. change your bank ASAP

Is there no law in your State?         If judgement is requested will the Court not ask for your side of the story before reaching a conclusion?

I got a call from this number, they got all info about me except the zip and bank I bank with. They can't do anything w this info, if it's debt collector they send you letter, if there is judgment against you they send letter. So just wondering who is this creep and why is he whistling my time... Any ideas?

Called at 8:30am and said they were UPS tried to deliver a package to an apartment next door, and asked if I would get up and go knock on her door. When I called back, no company information on voice mail.

I had a guy say he was ups and he had a check from TD bank. He aked if I would be home to receive it I said yes then I said that ur not ups, he hung up...weird!!

This person has been calling my house and even called my parents and said they were UPS looking to make a delivery. When I called back, it went straight to VM with no identification of company name. They did not leave a message.

Got a call on 5/11/2015 from "800 Service" - tel number: 1-866-869-4072; I ignored the call, but heard a male voice saying, "Pick up, this UPS." He said he had a check for my stepdaughter, who no longer lives here, from a company in Parsippany called 88-Management. The caller insisted that they'd attempted to deliver on Saturday (we were at home all day), and that only the person that the package was addressed to could sign for it.

When questioned how he knew that it was a check, he said the parcel indicated that it was.

Obviously bogus, and would love to know how and where I should report this call.

Called my number 3 times, didn't recognize it, so didn't pick up, no voicemail left.... so pretty sure it's a scam
