I keep getting a call from this number. Every time i try to call back, it rings once and goes straight to a weird voice mail. Help me identity this number.

It's a collection scam just block them . If you call back it connects you right to music (you're on hold)  Any legit company would identify themselves whether it be a live person on the other end or a recording that has you wait on hold for someone. If they can't identify themselves, they are trying to mislead you in some way. Ignore and block the calls and if they persist, report them to the attorney general.

When I called this # back the person that answered with a huge axsent mumbled the name of the company, I asked what company are you calling from she said National Grip, I asked why didn't the first caller leave me a message, she hung up. Can you say SCAM!!!!!!!

I missed their call yesterday, i called back a woman answer and asked me for my new mortgage account number, for i did not have a new mortgage, i said who is that or what is your company s name, she said that customer service give me your information and i can look up who was calling you, i persist you need to tell me about you first ans she's like that's ok and hanging up

I keep getting a call from this number and there is no one there when I answer. When I called back more than once I got classical music immediately as if I was on hold.

I get a call from this number every morning, and there's never anyone on the line. I've started swearing at them and hang up.

I got the call at eight o'clock in the morning, I called back and got a Beethoven Symphony #2.  LOL!!

I get calls from this number on a daily basis and they never leave a voice mail.  When I answer, they hang up.

I got 3 calls in under 5 minutes from this number that I ignored because I was busy, when I called back nobody picks up and I have no voicemail. Obvious scam.

they never leave a voicemail and call multiple times a day, still don't know who this is. if it was important, they'd leave a message!

National grid

Well I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one... I put it on block on my phone because they never leave a voice mail and they hang up of I answer. But they call every day at least once a day for the last two weeks.

I called this number back and after five minutes of music, a woman came on the line and stated she was from National grid reminding me I need to make a payment(which I do) I asked for the number to call customer service as I am not able to make a payment until later today. She gave me the correct one(800 322-3223). So maybe it really is National Grid? This number has called me multiple times a days for past three weeks.

this person called saying they are National Grid and that i owe money. They asked for my social security #.  Which most places do so it seemed legitimate.  Once I pressed the number that I wanted to speak to a person, I got left on hold indefinitely and then when I called back, there was just music indefinitely.

NO PLACES ask for your social security #. They MAY ask for the last four digits of your social, and that is normal, but if they are asking for all nine digits, DO NOT give it to them.  Ask what company they are with, hang up, and Google the company's name and phone number.

The number is National Grid collections office.  They call you if your electical bill is past due.
