I've been getting this number for weeks and no one is ever on the line. They call around 10 times a day. When I call back, it's always busy.

I have gotten at least 6 calls from this number stating they are from BB&T Bank. I returned the call and they wanted personal information, none given. The women on the line was very pushy and bitchy. I called BB&T Fraud department and they stated it was not a phine number related to the bank.

These fools called at 8:30 on a Sunday evening..is this even allowed?

They Called back later and ask us to ID our self by pressing a # when they read our name.
Called BB&T they said it was NOT them who called.

It is BB&T, it is because you are late on a loan payment. Make your payment and the call will stop. Quite easy.

My mother got this call ..they wanted money to cover her account..the account was ok according to the local branch...The caller wanted about 80 to cover charges...Local bank said not true...

Not true.  I have a BB&T loan.  Never been late, not even one day because I have automatic withdrawal.  I still get the call.  Sunday morning, 8AM, Monday morning 8AM... go figure that one.

I get this call once a month. I have auto withdraw for my car loan. When I answer no one is there. When I call back I am asked to input information including my SSN. I called the attorney general's office of Georgia. They put me through to a person who said they had many complaints and are investigating the company. I have given the attorney general's office my information. Call your attorney general.  I will NEVER conduct any business with BB & T again. They are incompetent.

I get at least two calls per night from this number.  I never pick up as I know it is someone trying to solicit or scam me for something.  I want them to leave me alone.

Getting calls from this number 4-5x a day now, asking for me by full name and want the last 4.  i press 0.  it's relentless.

866-877-9385 they call and it rings 10 times. I don't answer. If it's BB & T my car payment is not late since I have a 10 day grace period and I pay within that time frame. Think I will refinance my car with someone else. They really have poor business tactics.

this number calls and I am not late on car payment,actualy its my daughter account. It is BB&T and reading other complaints I no who gave my number to this collection.

I had a car loan with BB & T. It was paid 2 years ago.  They are still calling saying please call this number.  When I do they inform me they need my SSN and other personal information since I am late on my car loan.  They are very rude!!!! I don't have a loan. This is a scam. I will never associate with BB & T again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure they said BB&T? On our voice mail they say BB& G and leave a reference number to use when replying. I haven't bothered to reply as I am sure it is some sort of scam.

My car has been paid off for 2 years. I still get monthly calls from this number. I have called BB & T and they claim not to know about my loan or the number.  They are truly incompetent.  Thankfully I have no loans and don't plan on getting any from BB & T ever again. Wish they had been one of the banks who failed!

Just called my BB&T branch and they checked to see if this was their number. It was not.

Don't blame BB&T for scam artists using their name. I doubt it's anything to do with BB&T, other than that someone has chosen to use their name to try to scam us.

After reading the comments, I went online with BB&T and realized I forgot to pay my loan this month. I think it might be ligit. I never answered the call.

This is not BB&T . We get a Recording everyday at 9:30 Am  telling us that we are overdrawn at the Bank.and they need our SS# We are NOT Overdrawn with this Bank.. Although we do bank there.. They want us to send a $10 Check I guess so they can wash it and make it out for whatever they wish..We called the bank and they know nothing about these type of calls. they say they would never ask for your SS # The Morons telling people on here, to pay their bills need to shut the F up.....
