Threatened further legal action

Threatening caller demanding information about deceased son's debt.

do not admit to any debt. They are calling because according to state law statue of litigation is close to expiring. Once that date hits they can no longer go after a debt and it becomes non existent.  If one admits to a debt the process renews itself. So do not admit to owing anything.

Stupid people amaze me.  Admitting to the debt doesn't  renew statute of limitations.  If they are seeking legal action in regards to the debt due to the statute of limitation expiring, a judgement will renew that statute for 7-10 years, more if it is renewed.

I keep getting repeated, cut off voicemails from them claiming there will be further legal action if I do not call back.  No name of their company, no name of the caller, no name of who they are calling to reach, nothing.  Previous attempts to call (via Google Talk) have failed to be answered or failed to connect.  Today I called and spoke with someone who answered "NCI."  I asked what type of business they were and they claim they are a pre-legal service.  This is their website per a Google search of "Nci AND pre-legal":  http://www.ncirm.com/Services/AccountsReceiva ... neyNetwork.aspx  They have been leaving repeated voicemails and when I finally called and got through to them (using Google Talk) they checked my number and were after someone who had my phone number a long time ago (I have had my number over a year, but I still get calls now and then looking for Felicia).  I asked them to remove me from their call list.

This law firm is fishing for info..  Get your facts straight...they need to do a better job at searching for the correct person,,got calls for my EX-WIFE who was long before my current phone # and address...find Helen Hubert on your own do your homework people.LAW FIRM WILLIAMSON & BROWN.
