This company calls my cell phone at least 4 times per day even after explaining that I have no idea who the person is they are looking for. I wont answer anymore so it doesnt eat up my minutes

This is a collection agency, they keep calling my cell even though I've told a number of times the person they are trying to contact no longer has this number.

they call a couple times a day looking for someone I don't know...collection agency...woman even called me a LIAR when I told her I was renting the house and never heard of the guy! What jerks......can't someone do!!! something about these sleazebags?  I'm on the DNC list.......go figure!

Bunch of bottom dwellers I tell ya, I think the next time they call Im gonna tell them that so and so is at this number now... and give them the number to the Sheriff's office!!!!

If they are a collection agency, they are not listed. I've google the number and they they don't have it. My local "infrmation" number does not have it  and the nation's "information" does not allow me to plug in the number to find who owns it.

This is one of three numbers that calls me every day. I do not answer. I do know that 866 is NOT a toll-free number and if you call it back, you could be charged.

How do these people get these numbers? - this is the second so called "collection agency" that calls my cell which is just set up on a data plan with no phone plan (but it has a number they can call)I called the number and get some crap to leave a message with "Ebony" but the message box is full. I just got this new number after another so called agency kept calling - I think it's a scam, these people always seem to call cell phones - I think the cell phone companies are paying these people to do this or something. The phone is registered to my business which owes nobody anything! I have filed a complaint with the carrier for this number threatening legal action if they allow this number to keep calling

Huh! I've got the same prob. If I pick up when they call, I get a message to hold the line. After 30 secs. I hang up. When I try to call back, I get the message that "Ebony's box is full." I have recently gotten an e-mail that there are several scams asking people to hold the line, or call a number back. Can anyone confirm this is a legitimate business. Nothing I've found online has confirmed thus far.

These people have started calling my cell phone and I do not answer it.  They've called three days in a row now and the voice mail that they leave me...Is a woman talking..and she must start before the beep because all it ever says is the last four digits of the telephone number...I called back and ti kept putting me on hold saying please hold it's important we talk to you.

This number calls me on a daily basis. Says it is Allied Independence. I do not know of any such company. Now it does not even finish the sentence. This is all I then hangs up.

There have called me for over a year now. Every single day, (5x) looking for someone else. I have told them again and again but they never listen. I stop picking my phone up and just let it go to my recorder.

I don't think they will ever stop.......I have reported them too. Nobody stops them.

For the last week, I have been getting daily calls with a recording to call 866 898-3991 about a urgent credit problem. I am sure that a return call will make me provide them with personal information, so they can LOOK me up in their system. This has to be a slam. Who do you report this too?

I just received this call today on my answering machine.  She says, "This is Ella at Interstate.  Please call us at 866 898 3991.  We are a debt collection company attempting to collect a debt.  Any information you give us will be used for that purpose.  I know for a fact I have no debts, so I figured it was a scam. This sounds like a recorded message.

these people are always calling me and its early in the morning most times. i want it to stop.

If you are receiving these calls, than call the Federal Trade Commission, at 1-877-382-4357, and file a complaint. The FTC claims no complaints have been filled against this company. Might want to let them know...

allied interstate, debt collection calling for wrong person. call constantly, have been told a few times wrong person.

I called them backo  .. at first it was a recorded message by a guy.. then it actually went thru to the call center.. i said i just got a call from them.. and she said it was for "PAULA AIKEN" or sumthing like that.. i had receieved multiple calls in teh past for this "PAULA" person from collectors.. and a month ago i got a hold of sumone (idk if it was the same number but it was from the same company)... the woman said she took me off the list at that time and sorry.. so now a month later i get another call.. the woman on the phone tells me she is checking my number to see wut "accounts" type of things are still on it... she said my number was taken off teh list on the 31st . and sorry .. she doesnt know y it called me... also that it will take a day or 2 to go thru.. ( i assume she re submitted my info to be taken off).. if not.. its sum bigh scam.. eitehr way im happy.. most of the time u cant get thru to neone.. so atleast they were nice about it

Keep calling - not a real person - saying it is Allied, & that I need to call them back about a debt. I don't owe a dime other than monthly bills always paid on time. What do I do? I have never call them back.
