Receiving calls with no message left from 8669234421.

I keep getting calls from teh same number.  This morning they called my home number which I did not answer and then when they did not get an answer they called my cell number.  I do not know who it is.

I had 3 calls from this number as well, with no VM. Finally called them back. it's GE Capital financial services.. I dot know what other stuff they offer, but I have a Care Credit account with them. evidently, this was just a courtesy call to check in and see if they could do anything for me. I asked for a lower interest rate and the guy said no. When I was connected, the automated message just said the call may be monitored. It did not say the company name. the guy who answered the call told me who I'd reached. I assume they do that for their collections purposes, but I did end up verifying the last 4 of my SSN. Not a huge deal, but still weird to me.

Exact same thing happened to me, and it seemed very odd since we were not late on any of our payments.  When I call the number back, I get no one - just some bad music and then disconnected.  I called GE Capital (Care Credit) and they said the call absolutely did NOT come from them, and that no information should be given to the caller.  I recently asked my bank for a short forbearance on my loan (long story), but I think it is them (or a service used by them) making investigating calls to try to find out if we are behind or having trouble with any of our other bills.  No one else would know that I have a Care Credit account, and also have my cell phone number.

Well I have receive calls from this number as a collection agency telling me  that I owed money for just waiting in the ER, the hospital never sent a bill and my insurance never heard a wo.rd from it and all of the sudden 3 years later I get calls from this number tellinv me that I owed $180 but that they can settle for $120 if I pay in full. So dont trust this number.
