This number is associated with a scam to allegedly provide vehicle warranty. Number is associated with "Vehicle Services, 1052 S. Cloverleaf Dr., St. Peters, MO 63376. I received a postcard after a "no record" phone call appeared on my caller ID.

Got a card from the "Vehicle Services" and I called them. They were offering me a 7-year premium warranty for free repairs if my high-mileage car has problem with engine, transmission, etc., free towing and a $2395 price tug... which they offered to break down into a payment plan, and wanted me to charge it.   I told them that I wanted something in writing and I wanted time to check them out.

Are these people and services real?

IF YOU ARE BEING SOLICITED BY COMPANIES BY MEANS OF A RECORDED OR COMPUTERIZED CALL. Usually this is being done through "voice broadcasting" and apparently people are being told that this is “Warranty America” calling.  This is absolutely NOT the case.

Received postcard and I called about my Final Warranty Notice.  Wanted to sell me a 7 year  warranty for $2310.  I asked for something in writing and she said "no."  I asked for an hour to think about it and she said no, my info would be deleted.  She became very rude.

I got a card in the mail today from "Vehicle Services, 1052 S. Cloverleaf Dr., St. Peters, MO 63376."  It looked suspicious with a headline reading "Final Warranty Notice" for my car.  Considering I recently purchased this car, I presume they somehow have access to VRN numbers & the addresses of their owners in order to generate these postcards.  I wonder where one should report these sorts of scams?

I received a card with a return address of Vehicle Services 1052 S, Cloverleaf Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376. Map quest shows a collection of addresses 1028-1055. But the card postage paid permit was Wichita, KS.

I received a card from these folks, which from the start seemed questionable:
"Final Warranty Notice"  when I still have 5 years on mine
"Call within 72 hours" All smack of pressure tactics as outlined in the AARP publication "Weapons of Fraud" (a great book, and FREE from the AARP)

I checked the BBB (www.bbb.org)and they list the summary:
"The BBB processed a total of 27 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period.Of the total of 27 complaints closed in 36 months, 21 were closed in the last year."

I suspect they are "legitimate" but sketchy at best.

Happy living in the wasteland of marketing and weak consumer protections!

I also received a card in the mail.  I just called these people, said I needed to make a decision NOW.  Told them I need to discuss w/my husband.  He said they could not go over the $$$ until we both was on the phone or if I could get a hold of him.  They said they could not hold their offer open for me in their files.  (They never made me an offer)???  I have shopped around for extended warrenties and each time I talked to somone, they told me the covereage, amount and they gave me a decent deadline.  I did not feel pressure to buy on the Spot!--- Shop around for any extended warranty and compair quotes, mileage, etc.  Never feel pressure to buy anything.

Here is the link that decribes this type of deceptive marketing:
    http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2007/12/warranty_scams.html
If you feel like you have been a victim of fraud I urge you to contact your state Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection Division.  Other States have been successful in lawsuits against deceptive marketing schemes like this.  This company should be put out of business, it up to us to inform our officials.

We got a call from them too.  It seemed like they had just somehow found out what kind of car I had and were aggressively / scam soliciting us.  I told him it seemed like as much, to which he had no reply.  He would not even identify what company he represented and could not tell me if I had any type of current account with them.  This thread verifies that.  Then we also just got a postcard from them.  It states "Vehicle Make:  Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC"  "Model Year:  **Confidential**"  Ha ha ha.  I am not sure how they found out generally the make of our car.  The dealer or the oil / lube place we take it to may have leaked some records?

I recieved a notice from them to. After giving them a call, they gave me a better deal on a warranty then even my dealership did!!! At first I was a little weary about the actual coverage and whether or not the warranty would hold up or not, but they informed me I would recieve my paperwork in 7-10 days and had 30 days to think about it. Since they only required a small down payment to get everything activated I went for it. Sure enough I got everything in 7 days. The crazy thing was, 2 months after I purchased the coverage my transmission went out. Without the warranty I would of paid 2900 dollars. I PAID $0!!!!! Their customer service was great and very helpful. They even towed me in and gave me a nice rental car for free!!! Vehicle Services saved me I guess. I guess GOD does work in mysterious ways!

I had been getting calls from this # for the past few days and I finally pressed 1 to speak to a real person.  They are trying to sell warranties for cars that no longer have warranty or the warranty is about to expire.  I actually spoke to a really nice young man that I hope is NOT a scam artist.  I did give him my debit card # to pay a "down payment" on a new warranty for my car since I don't have warranty at this time.  He stayed on the phone with me for over an hour giving me info. on what their company offered & even lowered the price of the warranty that I qualified for.  So, I've called back the 800s #s he gave me for customer service & even the # to his office. THey all SEEM to be legit at this time.  I'm supposed to be getting the actual policies in the mail within 7-10 days and I have 30 days from today to return the policy for a full refund if I change my mind or have any disagreements about what I get in the mail.  I'll be sure to send an update on what happens because I'm really nervous about the outcome of all of this.
