got a call from this number, didnt answer it.

I am getting a lot of calls from this number, don't answer it.  I am getting them at all hours

Same here....and some of the calls are pretty late at night...I don't know why and who it is...have not answered any of them.

It's from Career Advisor's.....

Internet job boards such as employmentguide.com has sold their information to this third party company. This was the only job board that I posted my information on, their privacy policy states that they can and do. So I would post someplace better and be aware of their privacy policies as well.

I called them back, it is for financial aid for college -  I did not call them or fill out application on line - I am getting ready to retire - I was told someone used my phone number on an application

its very annoying  i am getting tires from does callls and that happens when you summit a resume at yahoo

This company helps you find schools to go to.  They also got my number from a career board.  I called them and requested that they remove my number from their calling list.  They were very nice and said it would take 48 hours to do so.

These pricks are incessant.  They keep saying I'll be put on their do not call list and they keep calling.

It sounds like they are in India but use American sounding names.  

Enough is enough.  If they call again, I'll drag their sorry [***] into court.

I think it's a scam! I don't think it's a career advisor trying to help you with a college application or whatever, but I'm sure they want you to think that. They are only telling you this to get your information and then they have enough to steal your identity. Don't tell them anything. If it really was a career advisor, they wouldn't randomly stop talking and listen to you ask if anyone is there. The man I talked to on the other line seemed foreign, he could barely speak english, quiet, and asking questions about my identity. Then he stopped talking all at once and it sounded like he was recording me.

For the past month, this number hyas bombarded my home phone, and I have asked several times to have my name taken off of their list. They always apologize and tell me it takes 48 hours for a name to be removed. They claim to offer college funding advise and grant info plus referrals to on-line courses. They often call between the hours of noon to about 10pm, Mon to Sat.

In concert: How do I get them to stop calling, short off having ATT change my phone number? Will ATT place a block on this number?? These people are incessant. I actually thought they were a collections outfit...

I called this # back. It was some online school program.

I'm tired of these people calling my phone. I wish they would get a life. It's nothng but pure harassment.
