Tim McDermond calls at 8pm from a number that comes up as "unavailable"...calling a number I just got and never gave out, says he's from "the Official Notification Department" in regards to the (unnamed) contest  I entered for the new Cadillac Escalade, with GOOD NEWS! and I must call him back as soon as possible at their toll free number 1-866-933-6012.

Are people really this dumb?  Thanks but no thanks, I'm good.

Yeah, so I supposedly won an escalade. Ive never even entered a contest for one, yeah sure buddy. Phishing scam.

same thing as reported by other callers about same message that i had won a cadilac escalade said he was from notification dept. and his name was tim mcdermit

This is the same problem keeps happening over and over how to stop thees idiots same person at my friends house same # all about time shares they call us everyday same time and wake us what a pain.

This caller (Private Name, Private Number) left a message on my machine saying that they were Tim McDurmin from the Official Notification Department. They mentioned a sweepstakes that was entered in the past year, and that they did a drawing for $25,000. He says that they have good news, and that we should call (866)933-6012 immediately. This is clearly a scam. If they call again, I will likely be using my whistle.

I too received a call from this number saying his name is alex price and the contest was coming to an end for the 2013 Hybrid and 25,000 cash drawing and that I should call back as soon as possible they have good news and congratulations.    sorry charlie won't be falling for that one.

this number cross references with a bogus (no answer) number 312 488 1854 from some prerecorded voice of a person stating their name is Alex Spice....won a 2013 Hybrid....sorry Alex, but I don't like Hybrids!!!  keep it for yourself and stop calling....

Tim McDermon just left a message on our machine today saying we should call 1-866-933-6012 regarding a contest for $25K entered some time ago.  He is from the "official notification department" but doesn't name the contest or the company he's pretending to represent and he says has good news for us & "congratulations!"  Really???!  He doesn't name the person here who supposedly entered the contest AND he doesn't actually say anyone won.  Give me a break!  I would love $25K--anyone else would too.  Hopefully no one is caught in this scam which I assume is designed to get personal information that will be used to perform some kind of financial fraud.

Received a telephone message from Tim McDermon. He left a message on the answering machine lastnight at 8:00 pm. stating to call 1-866-933-6012 regarding a contest for $25K entered some time ago.  Tim did not have the name of the person who supposedly entered the contest nor does he provide the name of the contest or the company he's pretending to represent. All Tim states is good news  and "congratulations!"

I did a search on google for the telephone number.  I read a multitude of post whereby many received the same call (From Tim or Alex).  Per other callers the number is orginating out of 312-962-0234 or 0230 or 0225 which is a Chicago number.  This is FIshing.

got the same call more than once and when I asked the women on the other end of the line how many other drawings and showed her that I was sceptical she begin too get upset and ignore my further questions. yes also TimMcdirmon what ever 25k Ive never joined any contest, Told my wife it was probably a skam shes kinda a sucker.

This so called Tim McDermond called my phone and left a message that I had won a contest with them and to call back.  Left the phone number 866-933-6012.  Total SCAM!  I sure don't recall entering any contest for $25K.
