This is TD Insurance.  I did an on-line quote and they were calling to follow up.  They left a message.

Received call and picked up but did not say anything with call eventually disconnected to a busy signal. Obvious robocall.

A lot of people are saying this is TD Insurance but its a robocall... if you don't answer there won't be a message (which they should leave if its legitimate business)... if you do answer it ends up connecting you with someone hard selling Telus Mobility services. There's been lots of scammers routing their calls through legitimate numbers so be careful. Bottom line: no legitimate company should be doing outbound calls via a 1-800#! Nobody should be answering a call from a 1-800# unless they are expecting a call from it!

Call from TD Insurance regarding a claim

TD Insurance calling to let me a payment is due.

TD cold call saying they wanted to talk to me about my policy. They couldn't elaborate without me verifying my ID and asked me for personal delails. Sounded suspect to me because no banks ask for personal details over the phone, so I asked them to send me a letter on letterhead.

This is not a legimate number from TD Insurance - Claiming they are . They didnt want to confirm my details but wanted me to .

Did they send you a letter as requested?

Got a call from this no. No answer. Called td..they said it is legit no. Td insurance said they hire people from the US working online to handle claims of hail damage in Canada!!.. dont really understand!!
