This is a text scam  You have been selected to receive a FREE $50  Target Gift voucher CALL 1-866-938-9168 to redeem    the text was from 1-404-647-9753 that is a Atlanta Georgia Number the 1-866-938-9168 is a mobile number.

$50 target gift voucher if call 1-866-938-9168. Text came from 404-789-5862.

$50.00 would be nice but it never comes.

I got the same $50 texts - 3 times in a row from 3 different (404) area codes.

I got the same $50 texts - 2 times in a row from 2 different no's: 404-917-7094 & 515-724-8762...
stating to call the no: 1-866-938-9168...
After seeing these post... i made a decission not to call...

Message came from 404-932-9074 about the Target $50 gift card. Didn't work so well, since I do not like or shop in Target. Called the number any way with a blocked number and their system told me I wasn't eligible. The 404 number sounds like a google voice call.

When I called the number the recorded voice said this was SHOPPERS EDGE.  I hung up.

I received the same message 5 minutes ago from 303-847-7606.
I reported them to the do-not-call-registry.

I received a text from 863-409-8166: "You have been selected to receive a free $50 Target Gift voucher. Call 1-866-938-9168 to redeem."

Received 6/10/12 at 8:29 pm CST.

My $50 text for target was from 8635133675

I got one from 303-875-7386

I received several texts from 1-720-401-5736: "You have been selected to receive a free $50 Target Gift voucher. Call 1-866-938-9168 to redeem. The 720 # appears to be from Denver. Every site for checking it out wants $ to give you owners name and/or address. Everybody wants you to hand them money. I have a pay-as-you-go tracfone & I'm inundated with texts all the time. The calls have dropped off since I listed with the National Do Not Call Registry.
