My sister received a call from this number. Wouldn't tell her details but was looking for me. Is this a scam?

It's a debt collector so says they're suing.  It's National Document Delivery Service.  They won't give you anything over the phone, but they say they are going to serve you papers and you have 30 days to respond to the courts.  The guy made no attempt to get my credit card number over the phone, just told me I was being sued and my paperwork will now go out and then hung up on me.  We'll see.....

Same thing here- the account number they give IS an old account of mine- but from the original lender it has gone to several collection agencies and the path I get leads to Crown Mgmt, with defunct phone numbers.  The company calling me with the above phone number is calling themselves a number of different things, and will not prove the debt.  When I told them they had to, they stopped calling.  Their address is a UPS store.  It would be nice to know my debt is cleared up, but not with this shanty scam.  Legit only.  And if you can't prove it, forget it.
