Att calling looking for me to upgrade my service.

They have a machine call you, it really sounds like a person so they can have you going for awhile. They said they were Wakoba or something like that. They said I completed a survey online and had won several gift cards. The voice said to go online right then, I said what makes you think I'm at a computer? The voice said, "I understand open your web browser on your telephone." I said, "what makes you think I have a web browser on my telephone?" The computer voice did not have an answer for this and I hung up. They have called several more times.

Received this call on 1/18/13, CALLER ID came up as TOLL FEE CALL.

It is AT&T Wireless looking for us to purchase their cell phones/plans, told them not interested as we are happy with who have have for cell phone service..

Told them do not call here again!!!

It's just another f'n bs waste of time

I REALLY wish these companies would search for their numbers and see what people think and say about them.  They are such LOSERS ! ! ! ! ! !

My phone is listed with do not caller's list and forget that.
This number rings on my Caller ID  all the time. It just
states UNKNOWN. We know it is ATT. No one answers.
What a waste of time.

Called and I answered they waited for me to say 'hello' about 4 lOUD times. Finally an operator said 'hello, we are calling to....." and we got disconnected.

This is AT&T trying to sell you something.

Recieved call on landline & answered it with a bogus identity which spooked the caller enough to hang up, but before had a chance to lay phone down received an email from AT&T. Tried to restrict the number from coming in but the call filtering service refuses to restrict this number 866-948-2714 and add it to the blacklists. Once upon a time, actually had respect for people who were just trying to do their jobs, but not anymore because these so-called "telecommuters" Do Not have our best interests at heart anymore. Telemarketers, Surveyors etc all have evil intentions behind their calling! Did block my email!!!

why answer the phone then if you see an 800 number calling. it is either a bill collecter or a telemarketer.

get with the program and stop complaining. you can always not answer.

I doubt that any message about unwanted calls does any good. Keep getting the same calls on a daily basis. I just never answer numbers that show up on my caller ID....but they keep calling. I would never do business with anyone who calls me on the telephone. I am completely satisfied with what I have, and if I wasn't, I would be the one to search for whatever....and that goes for junk mail also. I seem to get a load every day. Even when one gives a donation, they seem to want you to donate every month.

Better than be losers than collect welfare. They are just doing their job, try telling them not to call nicely, works for me.

Also, they aren't allowed to leave messages and the phone system messes up a lot.

It's the AT&T 3rd party cell phone department. All they do is put a headset on and it dials people, specifically U-Verse att home customers.  If you have any current service with a company, the federal do not call registry does not apply an they can call you until you specially ask otherwise. Also, this department has nothing to do with emails, can only talk on phone and submit new cell phone orders. Yes I know you are sick of the phone ringing, but answer once and ask to be removed from the calling list. It works.

My Panasonic phone has it's own call blocking built in, we'll see if it rings again on this #.

If you are an AT&T customer (like U-Verse) then you have a relationship with AT&T and DNC rules not in place.  That's how they get around it.
