    It's Honda Finance. They called my cell because I was 20 days late on my car payment. They're relentless. I already knew I was late, but I didn't need them calling me 4 times a day to tell me that, so I just called blocked them. Tip: If you have AT&T Wireless, add the feature "Smart Limits for Wireless". For $4.99/mo , you can actually BLOCK up to 15 phone #'s from calling your cellphone, even if they use the same phone # and decide to get slick and mark it a private #, it won't fool the call block feature, but it will only work if they call from the same #. For your land line phone, contact your local phone company and add call blocking to your account. This should take care of it. Worked for me :-)

    I received a total of 8 calls today from this number.  I know it's Honda Financial because they do this all of the time even when I'm not late on my bill.  

    I've been late maybe 2 times in two years, but never have I NOT paid my bill.  It is harassment, whether it is legally classified as such or not.  

    In any event, they are usually pretty nice if you pick up.  I however do not care how nice they are.  Computer system or not that is dialing my number, the person on the other end is still the only human personification of the computer and company that is constantly harassing me.  

    So today, after receiving my 8th call from them, I picked up.  I knew they wanted a payment, check number, when it was sent, etc.  So I gave that to them.  I followed with how I am sick and tired of the nonstop harassing phone calls even when they are not warranted.  

    The employee whom I'm not directly mad at it took it the wrong way, because after all they work at a collection company so I doubt their intelligence/emotional level is all that high, and alas they got defensive and eventually hung up on me after I explained what they are doing is harassment and is unacceptable.  

    So in closing,  either pick up and cooperate with them or stand up for yourself because these people suck!

    I changed my bank account info in Feb of 09, it is now well into May of 09 and the same guy keeps calling me day and night, he keeps saying that I have to verafy my new info with him and I have to give him my account number checking acount number ect, over the phone. I pay my bills online and never give out such info on the phone. my payments have been coming out of my new account just fine, but he keeps calling me anyway. Im tired of it, I never got harassed when I had my GM. I should have keept my old car!

    These people are "over-the-top" when it comes to harassing people.  You can be less than 10 days late and they are brutally rude and demanding. Borderline illegal.  After owning nine (9) Honda's, this one will be our last.

    I just received this missed call on my cell phone and in looking to see that it is Honda Finance I am a little confused to say the least.  I do not nor have I ever owned a Honda or had a vehicle financed through them.

    I keep getting a missed call from them as well .. only I don't have any account to collect on.  I had a Wells Fargo Auto account until i paid off my car.  There is no reason for them to call me.

    They keep calling my place of employment and hanging up! Why won't they take it off the list!! It's obviously a business!! Hit the no call button on the look up screen!! That simple!

    I called the number back--Honda Finance--I do not and never had an account with them.  I believe they are looking for the people that had our phone number before us (over 3 yrs ago).  She wanted my SSN--I told her no--I don't have an account--she asked if I co signed--nope.  I do not have an account.  She told me I would have to write them to have my number removed--WHAT?  I told her--I should not have to do anything to have them stop calling me--it is not my debt.  I even gave them the name of who they were probably trying to call.  It is frustrating that Todd and Tiffany Nicholson don't pay their bills and leave old numbers and others have to be harrassed for their bad judgment!!!

    receive calls on the order of three times a day.one of the three times they will leave an automated message that tells me to call them back about my account.  I have no current or past dealings with Honda finance and wonder if my new acquisition of an at&t number that may have been tied to someone that is having problems with their finances currently is the source of these pesky phone calls.

    The lady was extremely rude when I wouldn't verify my personal information for "security purposes".  She told me that it would affect my credit even though the payment was only 20 days late.  She was adamant that she could not "notate" my account that I would pay on Thursday until I "verified" my personal information.  However, she threatened to notate my account that I did not care about the account and if it was paid, and that she could  have it put on my credit that I was slow payer.  I tried to explain that the facts would remain the same, I would pay the account on Thursday whether she made a notation or not.  She said I would still receive phone calls daily unless I would verify my info.  
    It is harassment.  The lady I talked to was Stephanie and she was extremely hateful.
    I talked to her supervisor who was equally so.  
    I have two Hondas currently.  One is financed through my credit union, the other through Honda Finance.  I will never finance one through Honda again.

    Constantly receive phone calls (at least 3 -4) per day.  No one on the other end, No identification of who is calling, no message left, phone goes into a busy signal and hang up.  If this is Honda financial (as other post state), they must have a very bad reputation for customer service.  I do not own a Honda, and due to these phone calls I have received (and notes from other post), I will Never own, lease, buy used etc a Honda and go through Honda financing. This is just seemingly outright harrassment.
    This company (Honda) should re-evaluate their process for collection.
