called with number blocked then left a message on answering machine saying to call back this number and that it was very important

Caller leaves numerous messages at the my workplace for (someone having same last name but different first name) that it is "very important" to return their call to 866-951-2038.  This is not me, but the company continues to call my office.

I called this number and recording identified business as "Berlin Wheeler".  After a short wait, a call taker answered and obtained my information.  When I asked for their company name and nature of their business, the call taker disconnected.  I made subsequent calls to same number but shortly after the call is answered; it is disconnected by that business.

An internet search revealed that Berlin-Wheeler is a telephone debt collection agency in Topeka, Ks.

This number has called my mothers cell, my home and now my work. This must stop!

Got call from this number asking for some one who did not live at my home. I told the lady no one lived here by the name. She was insistent that I give the person a message. If I was used as a reference, then why can't I refuse to run around to locate who ever it is that they are looking for. A NO should be sufficient. This call absolutely had nothing to do with me. Why was she so RUDE? She even hung the phone up in my face, what kind of business practice is that?
