*Sallie Mae.  They have been calling me every afternoon.

They have called me twice now. The first time I did not answer and they did not leave a message. The second time, I answered and there was no immediate response on the other end and then I got a very loud static noise. I did have an application pending with Sallie Mae, but this is very unprofessional. I really doubt that this is in fact Sallie Mae.

It's Sallie Mae calling in regards to your application. They generally (by this i mean never in my dealings) dont leave messages when they call from that numbers.

They called me about a pending loan I had with Sallie Mae.  Said I needed to do my electronic signature, but I had already done it.  The woman sounded like she didn't quite know what to say, and these sorts of calls are normally done off a script with trained callers, so it sounded fishy to me.  I got off the phone and am sending Sallie Mae an email to confirm it was them.  I will update IF it was NOT Sallie Mae.  Otherwise, assume it was!

Okay, definitely a SCAM.

I don’t have an application pending with Sally Mae, so no idea why they would call me. They won’t leave a message and I won’t answer their call.
