I am witting to give you the side from the company making the calls.  I work with Wild Rose / Bonavista and I am proud to say so.

We employ 110 Canadians across the country that support their families and put themselves through school by making telemarketing calls.

We have purchased an extremely expensive calling system that automatically blocks calls to people that have registered for the National Do Not Call list and also allows us to add numbers to our own list and make sure that they don't get called either.

We don't want to call people that have specifically said that they don't want to hear from us.

Most people that post on this site seem to hate the fact that companies use telemarketing.  It certainly is not the approach that suits everyone but then again some people get just as upset about junk mail and infomercials.  

If you get a call from us and want us to stop calling, just call back and ask us to take you off the list.  All we need to do that is the phone number including area code.

Flashed a warning on my computor out of the blue  1(866) 971-6220  (High Priority resolution line) a supposed Tech Support Online  says my passwords & financial information is unsafe. Hmmm yeh huhh? Bums have my IP address too. Not liken this. Rich
