Same thing.... technician says he's on the way to turn the power off to our hotel.  I asked his call back number, and this was it, Plus he gave an extension number of 1189 and his name... but I couldn't understand him.  I called Duquesne light to let them know about it as well.

Said his name was Anthony Mills and he was calling because the light service at (my business address) was being shut off due to non-payment.  I needed to call right away to make a payment - He left this number 866-978-7923.  We don't even have a light bill at this address.  I think they just got my business name/ address off my website.  What a shame these people are out to scam people.

I convinced these guys I was falling for their scam. I told him I went to get a card but OH NO! I got the wrong one. I kept it going all day yesterday and this morning. When they called me back today, I gave them the card number of URNID10T. Hahaha! He got the joke and told me to have a nice day. Pretty good attitude for a scammer. Called from "CPS Energy" (electric company of San Antonio) to tell me that my bill was past due, and that I was set to be disconnected today.  I actually was behind on my bill, so I asked them to verify the amount that I owed while I had the bill in front of me.  They aimed about $400 high, so I hung up knowing it was a scam.

Yup. Just got a call today too from "CPS Energy" saying our payment had been misapplied and we needed to take care of it to avoid interrupted service.

This is anthony mills from cps energy. We show that your account has not been paid for last month. We are sending out 2 techs in 20 minutes to shut off your power unless you pay

"This is CPS Energy- you owe a past due balance" They're saying this even though I have the bill in front of me showing that we are paid in full. Nearly gave me a panic attack. This is certainly a scam/fraudulent phone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM PAYMENT INFORMATION

This scammer has tried us a couple times now. If you contact your service provider they can get you some reporting numbers for the FBI and the like. Here they are claiming to be PSE. Same stories as above.
