Said I havea check from Publishers Clearing House that UPS would be delivering to me in 1 hour but first I had to finish paying some other tax first before I could get it.

This is a scam and they are trying to get people to put up 500.00 you front.  Door believe it.

Scam from Jamaica. Says have publishers clearing house check for me if I pay the taxes first.

I just received a call on my cell stating that I won 3rd place in Publishers Clearing house and that UPS would be delivering to my home today. He gave me a warm congratulations, His so called name was Shane Williams with an accent. I told him in a tone that I haven't enter a contest and it makes no sense why he would be calling me to announce a UPS delivery anyway. He kept saying- you did win and a warm congratulations. I said- Gee, thanks. I believe it when I get home and there is a legitimate check waiting. He got off the phone very fast after congratulating me once more. He knew I knew he was so full of it that he didn't dare ask me for any money nor would he have gotten any. I love this reverse look up! Thank you and I sure hope no one out there falls for this scam

-claimed I won 1.5 million from publishers clearing house
-asked bogus verification question like do you have picture ID; do you pay your taxes
-never asked for personal identification information
-claimed UPS would be delivering within 1 Hr. and 35 Min.
-asked if I wanted public or private delivery
-claimed PCH paid 99% of my taxes on winnings
-wanted me to pay the rest of taxes on Green Dot Money Pack Scratch Card; available at CVS

During this conversation I simply googled PCH scams. At that point it was blatantly obvious to me that this was fraudulent. I notified the caller, Mr. Shane Williams he claimed, that I took the initiative to check online and informed him that it clearly stated that this was a scam....
Before I could even finish the sentence he hung up. I guess I realized he had wasted enough of my time and his, or most importantly, he wasn't getting my money
