Children With Hair Loss. I think they provide wigs for children who have lost their hair.They raise money for children who have lost their hair due to cancer, chemotherapy or other reasons. I think they provide them with wigs etc.

Called asking for my father by name. After I told him that dad died in 1980 he said that he was fund raising for a military something or other. The only way my address is attached to dad’s name is through a piece of land still deeded in both our names. I pay the property taxes. They must be checking the assessors records in various towns for names and addresses. Having said that, I have no idea how that could be cross referenced to a phone number in another state.

Received two called today, both left no msg.

Called and said it they were collecting for Breast Cancer Awareness. Replied that I am on the DNCL and not interested.

I am on State of WI & Federal No Calls list so the firm had no business calling me.  Called a few minutes ago, 8:28PM CDT 25 Sep 2012. I did not answer.  No Voice message left.

Display says "TOLL FREE CALLS".

I'm getting sick and tired of about 90% of calls placed to my home phone being strangers who just want my money.

Called and asked for me by name. Then said they were calling from the breast cancer society. I hung up

The number comes up on Caller ID with 'unavailable in the name area. This is a PAID fundraiser, most of whom take 70% or more of what you donate. If you wish to donate to children with hair loss, they have a legitimate web site and your donation will help more that way than paying these rude creeps on the phone.

These people call me every year for "Children with Hair Loss", some organization to help children with Cancer.  I've told them every year enough is enough but they keep on calling me.  Virginia  is a very non-co operative state as it only allows me through my current carrier to block only TEN unwanted callers.  I'm on the Do Not Call List and yet I still get these type of calls all the time.  They must've picked up our names by Deed or Public records which I don't appreciate at all since I've never heard of them before they started calling us.

I get the same calls every year as well.  I keep asking them to quit calling me but it doesn't stop.  I've got to put their number on my block list since the DNCL doesn't seem to do any good for PAID Telemarketing and I can only block TEN numbers with my carrier.  I don't even know how in the world they got our name--Public Records?? Our phone number is supposed to be unlisted and I pay for that as well but still these people get our numbers anyway so why are they getting it still?

My wife got a call from this number saying they were soliciting money for Childrens Charity Cancer Foundation. I talked to her and she sounded very unprofessional and like a rip-off scammer.

Keep in mind that there are exemptions and exceptions to the Do Not Call list.  If you ask a company to remove you, they are supposed to do so.  Use this link to determine if the company calling you actually is violating the DNC list; if they are, then report them.  However, if they are allowed by the FCC, FTC, or your home state to contact you, there really isn't much you can do other than repeatedly ask the company to stop calling you.

Called 10am today. Shows unavailable.  I never pick up unavailable call.

If you want to make a charitable contribution to just anyone calling you on the phone get ready for a deluge of scammers contacting you as your number will be sold to the growing number of those who do not want to work to make an honest living, instead they want your money. Do your research and contribute directly to the organization, NOT to a telemarketing third party company who may take as much as 98% of the charitable contributions! If it just doesn't sound right, it's not!

This number called shortly after dinner.  Moment the answering machine picked up, "person' on other side hung up.  Caller ID shows up as Toll Free Calle (probably short for Caller).  I am also on the
Wel'll see how many times it calls.

Just FYI...hubby & I gave every year to Breast Cancer. Two years ago we got a call and we were struggling ourselves and told the lady that we could only afford $15. She said that our slip would come in the mail with $50 printed on it and we just had to cross it out to write the $15. In a few weeks we started getting calls from a collection agency wanting to remaining $35 that we owed. It is still on our credit and we haven't given to any charities over the phone since. Beware of the tricks!!!!
