Number calls several times a day.  Does not leave message.  But will continue calling until I answer.  He asks for a different person everytime and I've told him he's got the wrong number.

What can we do about this?!

I got many calls, and once got this number.  The message was for a Elizabeth Mendez.  It seemed to be a recorded message and said if I was not Elizabeth Mendez to hang up, etc. etc.  Once I let the entire message go to my recorder and got the number then.  The calls seemed to have stopped but I must have rec. them at least 2 dozen times so am curious what this was about.  The caller sounded rather threatening.

How do I stop these people from calling? It is annoying and harrassing.I am working and It is against the law to call someone on their job regarding debts maybe I can sue this company and they can pay the debt.

this number keeps calling me since ever i havent called back to see who it is becuz i have no clue who it could be i dont give my number out so i dont know who it is. how can i mkae them stop calling me?!?!?!??

After numerous hang up calls and two collection calls for someone I don't know that I requested no further calls, and called back requesting no further calls, I asked for a supervisor.  Louis Santiago got on the phone and said the name of the company was Zan Ru, not Van Ru.  He said they did not input my information correctly to stop the calls.  Sure!

received a call from vanrue corp. they said wells fargo gave them my number, and was the last 4 digits of my ss# 7325?  i said no, and that my name was NOT the name they were calling.

i would like a refund for everytime they have called (4), and
all the other "idiot" non-person annoying calls.  STOP THEM!!

I've been receiving messages from this same exact number 1-877-209-5713 Ext#4379 and is working tonight till 9pm (not sure what time zone) for months.  The caller is both female/male and they are calling from Bank Corporation who represent themselves as Debt collectors.  These people keep asking for Marc Stevens, which I have no clue who he is or even if he exists because I don't even know the guy.  Today, I got a message from a guy who says he was Ray Hannah and what he said on the answering machine is so ridiculous and stupid.  He said something like, "I'm calling for Marc Stevens and if this is not Marc Stevens please hang up now.  If this message is still playing and you are listening to this I am going to "assume" that you ARE Marc Stevens."  What the F is that?  How can I stop my answering machine if I wasn't even home?!?!  What an idiot and Ray Hannah could be part of an ID Theft Ring or just trying to prey on innocent victims by scamming out of their hard earned $$$$$$$$.  Also, he mentioned that he was not a "solicitor."  LMAO  He's exactly a solicitor.

The Van Ru Credit Company has called my parents' home phone line every day over the past six or more months, supposedly regarding my doctor bills. If this company was legitimate, they'd know that it is illegal to speak with anyone other than the debtor regarding his or her debt. Unfortunately, my mother gave her credit card number to make them stop calling, and even though they charged her CC, they continue to harass her with calls and messages on a daily basis. I tried to call and resolve this today, but was put on hold for over an hour, only to find out that they had closed three minutes after my call was placed. After some serious research, I have found that this company is a scam and has had legal action taken against them for harassment cases and scare tactics. Beware and do not give ANY info to them or they will threaten your neighbors, call you incessantly at home and work with no regard for the hour. They use profanity, send fake government letterheads with threatening verbiage, and will stop at nothing. The horror stories are unending. Report to the BBB if you can. Good luck.

Just spoke with Joe Santana at Van Ru Credit Corporation. He has no record of my last name, my mother's name, phone #, cell ph #, etc. She has given out her CC# in the past to get them to stop calling. Acc'd to Joe, they do not have any ph #s associated with their company that begin with 877, only 888 and 847. So, watch out, these scam artists calling from this # are out to get your info and run with it. I called this number back (877-209-5713) and have sat on hold for a total of one hour and 25 minutes. Nobody came to the line, not even today when I called back. Be ware! Do not give out any info! they will just come back to get more, and will harass you even after you do.
