I received same voice message today......regarding 1099C and my representative should contact them!!!!

I received that same message January 15th who is it

Got a call from 716-402-1834 but asks for return call to 877-212-3222.  Left a message saying they were trying to reach James Barry (not me or anyone I know) also regarding 1099C filed under "my" name

Is it a scam cause I am worrying bout this??? Really something happen when I filed my taxes this yr.

My mother-in-law received a call today saying they were calling about a 1099C for her son (my husband) and that he should contact them. The number to call back was 877-212-3222.

Part 2: He has been trying to call the number this evening. Only gets a busy signal.
