They want my personal info but won't tell me why and rude and hung up on me

I keep getting calls from this number. They want to verify personal info, which I did not give. It's a complete scam!! The guy Jeffrey hung up on me when I started questioning him. It's a complete scam!!!

This company contacted my aunt and told her that I gave her number as a reference and wanted my location. I never gave my aunt's contact information to anyone. I'm positive this us a scam, and they should be arrested or sued for harassment!!!!!

It's probably one of those work from Home  Jobs you see advertised  on craigslist.so Sarah  then comes back on the line... dial zero to speak to a  representative right
Now .... or call (877) 218-4253. It is important  that we speak to you in regards to the whereabouts. If we cannot verify this information through you..  The law allows us to contact all references on file.

Now why in the bleeping bleep messed up Trump universe WOULD I EVER CALL them back... I know why..  i'm gonna give them a fake name and see what they say... so I called back and the name of the company is forward movement recovery and to leave a message or call back during normal business hours,  I left a message in the form of a nasty gram full  of a truckers vocabulary to see if they can figure it out and call me back so I can have a little fun.  What can I say? I'm a bored housewife...  i'll update my post  and let everybody know how it gos after I get to have my way with them  much like they are trying to have their way with me.  I really hope they call me back but no worries I'll be calling them.  Honestly I can't wait lol... geez anything to make a dirty dollar 💵,  Damn people out of their hard-earned money and their good name...  shame on them for preying
on those that are most Vulnerable, Like the elderly,  people who don't speak English very well, or those with a mental / Learning disability and / or those whom may just be too trusting  and easily taken advantage of...wanting to helpful and useful..obviously not understanding exactly what's happening.
Just a quick note about my brother that They are calling about...  is single, very frugal, still lives at home with mommy, and pays his bills even before their due date. But most importantly he has no debt.  None at all, no credit cards, no personal loans, no auto loans, no mortgage..,  no student loans....  he is debt-free and pays cash for everything and it's a tightwad  that works works works and Spends no money,  mommy packs him a work lunch.... and he uses a refillable water bottle for his  all his hydration needs.
His monthly bills are as follows:
the cell phone bill
Auto insurance

ROOM and BOARD aka rent ( i use the term loosely) as in he throws mommy a couple hundred dollars for the rent of his room,  and that includes all Utilities....and shat paper to boot

Full and I mean the works kids...laundry service,  this elite package includes : washing, either by machine or HAND washing for his special sports jerseys....Drying , either via the dryer or line dried as all his handwashed  "special" shirts and sports jerseys Have to be handled with loving care and can only be air dried by nature and are gingerly but lovingly hung outside in the fresh country air and breeze and the smell of sunshine.,.using only  special handcrafted bamboo clothes pins. They are then Ironed , Folded, and lastly Mommy  returns the laundered garments to his kings chambers where  they are placed in their proper areas, hung up or neatly folded and placed lovingly in his chest of drawers.  At this time,  mommy strips his bed and promptly remakes it  with the Egyptian cotton  800 thread count sheets and the proper blanket for the season.  Launders those   And returns to the proper area in his chambers.

But wait there's more!

A comprehensive dining / meal plan that includes three square meals a day, homemade and plentiful.. desserts because mommy has a sweet tooth and has either baked or purchased said desserts

Snacks 24/7 located in the extremely well stocked kitchen
beverages; of both hot and cold kind.

Daily Newspaper

And lastly, he pays cash for the fuel for his vehicle, goes to a movie once a month.. he brings his own snacks .

So, in summation,  I am able to surmise that   based off that tiny tidbit of really important information, that indeed.... whomever is calling... is operating a fraudulent operation... Or they are not who they say they are..... just the ex cop in me talking but sometimes private detectives will use this tactic to try and locate individuals for whomever hired them. Family / next of kin info is basically a neon flashing sign readily available  on social media pages like Facebook or even a credit report can contain this information. Just about all our whole lives are digital now. All our medical information and records are now kept digitally and just hanging out there in cyber space.. waiting to be accessed by any twelve year old that can hack your doctors server. All your contact info and that of anyone you listed  as your emergency contacts, next of kin, insurance policy holder if not yourself, ..their names , relationship to you and contact info readily available to be compromised....but the scariest thought is someone drilling  down into your actual medical file and information, history....medical Information on siblings and family members are often  asked for...  for hereditary issues....  also  there's a form that Is mandatory, by law, to fill out regarding.... ha.... ironically enough, your rights to privacy and the release of your medical records and/ or medical information called...  HIPA  ( health information privacy act) that we all sign saying we understand our rights that safeguards our medical info and where you can  grant permission For certain LISTED individuals, their relationship to you and contact info... access to your medical records and the release of any info if they so choose to call up and inquire about you.

So, that's  just the tip of the iceberg bag as far as how much information one can gather via the Internet and cyberspace... kinda scary huh?  And that's just from your doctors office..  Think about all the times you've listed an emergency contact  anything whether or not it's on a piece of paper or  entered into a computer.  Even our phones have the  description listed for an ICE ( In Case of an Emergency)  yeah right there in your phone that can be hacked pretty easily.
Do you work? Do you have life insurance? If you do then you designated a beneficiary via... hmmm yet another form, onfile  at your place of employment... hard copy in a file  for anyone to see  if not properly protected.  also uploaded and saved to a computer that you know nothing about. You have no idea if that computer  has the proper security, is updated, what kind of protection  it has against hackers but yet here's all this private information you just released to your employer and without even thinking twice about it.
You have NO idea what safeguards  your private info ..  what stands between your  private, personal information and... somebody wanting to steal your identity,do harm to your financial health, stalking or tracking / locating  you and YOUR family down  for whatever reason..  or sell your info... what protects your personal info from being Vulnerable?? What virus protection are they using? what adware? what malware?  Has it been updated? What about the server? Is it secure?  Who monitors that? ?? What about the Internet provider and wifi?  Is it public or password-protected? If you really thought about all the information that's floating out there in cyberspace for anybody and everybody who  have even just a slightest bit of knowledge to be able to hack into a system,a computer, a server,  A certain program, or email account, ISP.. omg actually i'm freaking myself out now just thinking about how much of our personal information is out there either on paper or floating in the universe and how Freely  we give this information out,  not even thinking about it  or is it safe? How do you safeguard my personal information? It's mind-boggling to think just how easy  it is for anyone  to access  our personal information.
  I didn't mean to be so long-winded, nor write a novel, however these are just things that I'm thinking about and how one who wants to commit  fraud...can easily do so.  I know people and I've seen it done, that have hacked into certain information or server just for fun or to see if they could do...it's a sport,  A challenge.
I've seen 12-year-olds  hack into their own  schools servers, get into individuals  Academic records and pull up protected, private, very personal information regarding Individuals visits to guidance with very personal information,  the school therapists/ psychologists/ school nurse  records containing very personal details and notes on any particular individual they wanted to see info on.'

what scared me the most was not that the student
was a mere 12 years old and already knew how to  manipulate and navigate to hack in, undetectable mind you,  directly from the schools own computer,  sitting right in the computer lab, on the schools Internet, using the school server... was able to do this..yes obviously he had done it before And in only a few minutes was able to access records that could be easily erased , wiped as if they never existed ,  this is what scared me the most that if a 12-year-old could accomplish this, and have the ability to cause exceptional damage,   View and manipulate the most private intimate moments shared with the school counselor or psychologist..  then to share it with anybody who is willing to listen causing harm to that individual... grades could be changed, attendance records changed. Basically anything and everything you wanted to do, you could, delete  important academic notes. add or embellish existing information  that could be extremely damaging  to a student and their educational future. Just food for thought.
