claim so call file against me.  no name of person call

he has called me many times and he says he has documents under my name and there is a claim against me.

David King, claims to have sealed documents in a claim against me. Today states he is coming to my house and my place of employment so I should have my state ID ready for service purposes. (Meaning he plans to serve me) I will not answer as there is no party with claims against me and he is far too vague, never leaves a business name or the name of who supposedly is filing this alleged claim against me.

Did he ever show up?

These people call every few months or so from different numbers saying they have paperwork in their office, or a "certified notice of intent" or that they're coming to my home or place of work with documents and to have my ID ready.  I don't have anyone with claims against me!

Please do not fall for this scam!  They never say who they are, rarely say where they're calling from.  Some of the numbers ping back to a delivery service out of India.  But most importantly, process servers do not call you first to tell you or warn you that you are being served.  They just show up and hand you the papers, unannounced.

These people, whoever they are, are just trying to scare innocent people into giving them money and they prey on people who may have bad credit and different collections accounts and/or people who have applied for pay day loans in the past.

Here's the answer to the question people continue to ask - do they ever show up?  No. They don't.  Because this is a scam.

These people have called my phone, my work phone, my family members, all threatening to serve papers on me, and over the past few years this has happened at least 4 times.  They even call multiple times stating that this is the "last" call you will receive before someone will be showing up with paperwork next week to your place of employment or home.  My co-worker even told the guy we'd likely see them soon then.  No one comes.  They just want you to give them money over the phone and use fear to scare people into calling them back.

This is old and gets really annoying.  I don't have any advice on how to stop it because there's no company name or information out there to report to anyone, especially since they use different numbers each time they call.  They'll go so far as to call from a number within the area code of the person or family member they're trying to reach so that it looks local and they'll answer. It's really ridiculous.

Caller left the following message: "This message is intended for Tria Tran. I'm going to to remind you that today is your scheduled service date, I will be stopping your place of residence, and place of employment to sign off your notice of intent regarding your pending claim. I left you several messages prior so you are more than aware that I will be out to see you today, make sure you are available with a valid ID for service purposes. If you have any questions, or want to have a stop order sent out, please contact the filing party at 877-219-1181 and please refer to your case number 512190. Tria Tran you have been notified.

Got a call today from 877-219-1181. He left a message about a sealed document file claim against me. Case number 502587.
I've had these calls in the past and I ignore them.
If they are real, they would have sent official letters/documents to my house.

Nice try. If you are the person contacting me on a blocked number good luck going to my place of employment since I have not been employed since 2009. And  you probably don't have my current residence address. Just stop with the harassing phone calls!

Recvd unavailable call 3 times in a row.  I answered last one only cause I was getting ready to call someone.  Man who didn't I'd self asked for my dad I said he's not here.  Advised me to take a message for him.  He never asked who I was nothing and advised dad to call 877.219.1181 and reference case 524xxx. I asked will he know what this is in reference to caller advised all he could say is he has service paperwork scheduled and it's from JONATHAN FRANK AND ASSOCIATES. We hung up.  I'very been trying to see IF this is REAL by trying to find out where this number is linked.  Looked up this company but they have different phone number and located in texas.  My dad has lived with me for the last 10 years and nothing has ever come in the mail for him suggesting collections nothing..and my dad passed away last month.  Can you all tell me IF they ever got a visit by there server?  I thought services or servers just show up they don't call you do they?  Thanks in advance

So I got the same exact message and I returned the call advising them they better not stop by my residence or place of employment. They told me I shouldn't be a deadbeat and just pay my bills!! LMAO....I've worked in collections and in the court filing departments for several different companies and this is definitely NOT how this process goes. Do not fall for it!!!

A man from 877-219-1181 left a vml with no name stating a civil case has been filed against me.  I returned the call and was given a case number.  He said he was with Jonathan C. Frank and Assoc law office and an online lending company had a suit pending.  They had my ssn and an old bank acct.  As I have had my identity stolen recently, I felt like this is probably a true report. At any rate I have reported this to the police and investigation is underway.  I have looked up the address and phone on the internet and will call the local number to see if the case number matches this law office.

Claims to represent Ace Cash Express regarding a cash advance I took out and (like many others) couldn't pay back.  Says they're going to press charges for check fraud. Now I know that they are a fraudulent company.

I just received a call from my sister stating a file number and I was going to be served papers. I talked to a Mr.King and he said I needed to pay 344 on a loan I couldn't pay back from Ace Cash express. I had lost my job at the time. He said I defrauded a financial institution and was going to be served.

This david king just called me, asking for my daughter, and said they were going to serve papers for a suit against her and were hoping they could reach a settlement instead.  Said he was with the law firm "Legal One Law" and is in Atlanta, GA (I looked up that firm name and they are in California..  Obvious scam.....if he was really going to serve papers, he would have called my daughter, not me.

These people are all bark no bite. Most have been just released from the California dept of corrections and are too lazy to work.
