Got a call from Jason Kennedy. Said that they represented Wells Fargo Misrepresented why they were calling. They wanted employment verification, start date and salary.

A man with a less-than-pleasant demeanor called from this number in an attempt to collect a debt from a guy with my same name.  I gave him my full name and the name of the person he was seeking (our middle names are different).  He wanted to compare birth dates.  I told him I had received similar calls concerning this individual in the past, that I was able to locate the debtor in a few minutes by doing an online search from my home computer and that he should be able to do the same, given the resources at his disposal.  He told me, "We do our job here.  Have a nice day," and hung up.
