multiple calls from this number over month of July 2008 and now going into August.  Since I don't pick up, guess I won't know who it is.

They call me asking for my neighbor while my phone is unlisted.

I just moved and got new phone number and now this number calls me. I have no idea who they are or who they are looking for

Ignore them!!!  Get your self a caller ID or a new Answer machine with Call Blocking!  Telemarketing they are looking to make a buck at your expense!
Remember Our President bailed out the banks not the people that needed the help. This is the result.

Called on behalf of Citi.  I am in bankruptcy and these calls are not supposed to happen.  I told the caller that I had filed bankruptcy and that I wanted to give him the case number.  He refused to take it and insisted on my giving him personal information before he would talk to me.  He called me, but wanted me to prove to him that I was "me".  Odder yet that he was completely uninterested in the bankruptcy data.

These people call on a regular basis - my home and cell #.  Yes, I do owe money but you can get blood out of a turnip!  When/if I get turned back around financially I'll be contacting creditors and making payments but until then.....DO NOT WASTE MY TIME with [***] phone messages, at least on home #, with something to effect "because you're still listening/on line you much be JOE BLOW..." - no, I just dont' want to "go there" with [***] credit collectors who just so don't get it!
