This is insane! Have no clue who these people are. Never a message, calls come several times a day from 8:00AM 'till 9:00PM, Saturdays and Sundays. Does anyone knows who they are?! And this 3 months after I placed my number on "Do-not-call" registry.

They keep calling and calling.  Will not leave a message.  When you answer they won't say what they want.  Extremely annoying.

It is the NRA. I just called the number back.

1-877-221-0577 belongs to the NRA.  They may be calling you since it is getting near election time.

Why won't they say anything when you answer. I get calls on a daily basis and I am really tired of it. My husband is a member but this is very annoying.

It is actually National Recovery Assets. And true, even if you are home & answer, they hang up. I suspect they are paid by the call. Abusive!

Someone keeps calling from this number. We want to know who.

Whether it's the real National Rifle Association or a scam artist using those initials, the best thing to do when they call is to pick up the phone, put it down somewhere out of the way, and walk away for a while.  It wastes their money and ties up their phone lines, and eventually they stop calling.  That worked for me after the 3rd time I did it to them.

Just received a call from this number at 8:50pm on a Friday night.  We do not owe anyone any money, I will save this number as spam and if the calls continue I will be reporting them.

A lot of people saying when you answer they don't say anything.  This is actually their automated dialer system.  They dial hundreds of numbers simultaneously and hope that one of their agent are available when you answer.  They don't care how much it bothers you .. the computer just wants to make sure that the instant they have someone available there are several calls they can pick up.

I have been receiving bogus calls in which the party hangs up
without saying anything.  Last time I got the number:
877-221-0577 called me at 8:40AM on 04/10/2014.  No
voice on the other end, just a long pause, maybe 30 sec
and then a hang-up.

No reason for me to have a debt collector calling so I just
assume they are fishing around for someone with the same
name.  In the past, if someone does talk on the line, I have
been able to get them to stop but then they hire another idiot.

they have called me wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. after 3 rings, hangs up, not available!! i don't answer not available nor private.i would not believe it is national rifale association at al. the other one mentioned would be more like it, and connected withe the OBAMA administration is more like it also, especially using NRA, that would shed disgrace on the NRA, and cause people to  dislodge themselves from the NRA.
