I received a call from this number today.  It was Chase telling me that my payment had posted.  I had asked them to use my phone as a reminder.

This is correct.. This number is for Chase bank alerts.. I receive them myself as well.

Yes... this is a phone alert that I requested from Chase Bank to let me know my payment had posted.  You can opt out by going to their website.

This number sucks I dont own a chase credit card and did not ask to recieve phone notifications i found a number to call them back n it took forever to get a real person to answer and then after telling me it will never happen again it happened again the same day and they call me like 3-5 times per day about a card i dont own!!!

This number is indeed from JP Chase Morgan Bank. If they are calling you, You requested it. Any bafoon who thinks its a scam needs to go back to the 6th grade and repeat the remaining school years. If you want the Automated system to stop calling, Please contact your Chase Financial institution, and inform them Or log in to your Chase account online and cancel the Phone notifications.

It is a completely legit phone number and message.  

If you don't own a Chase card (keep in mind they may have purchased another bank with a card you own) some idiot gave them your phone number for THEIR card alerts.

They will sto pcalling if you call and speak with them however they say it takes about a month to process.

i summitted a request with chase to take me off of the calling list and two months later i still receive 2-5 calles a day from this number and do not have a chase account

The alert options can all be changed from the Chase web page.  I personally asked for an automated alert when my balance reached a certain level, and this number called with alert.

yes, it's chase bank but when they call me it's too late.they charge me for overdraft fee

I have received calls from this number for over a month now. I have contacted them (CHASE) and have asked nicely to take me off the list or put me on the “do not call list”...but I still get called - every day around noon.  If I don't answer, they call again, as many as 3 or 4 more times.  I don't have a chase account and I definitely didn't ask for any reminder calls.  

Oh; one more thing, the “Computer Guy” that referred to others as a bafoon for thinking this might be a scam; you’re a narcissistic dolt.  What is a bafoon anyway?  Check your spelling idiot.

This is my new cell number and I am getting someone else's account info. I have called and asked to be removed but have no info except my phone number. How do I get OFF this list?

I keep getting crank called from this number as well. Did we give Chase too muich power with bailout funds?

yup, someone from Chase setup an alert using the number I've had for 5+ years.  Its not my account, but I get calls everyday.  I went into chase in person and they told me that I have no accounts ending in "that" account number, so its not fraud -- just someone fat-fingered the phone number to be mine.  Its annoying, and Chase tells me they can't search on phone numbers to find out whose account has the wrong info.

Remember that anyone can change their caller id number to whatever they want.  If they tell you to call a number such as 8663553744 it is a scam.  Just happened to me and I called the number off of the chase website and they said it is a phisher.  DO NOT GIVE OUT INFO TO ANYONE UNLESS YOU CALL A NUMBER YOU KNOW IS CORRECT.  Wish I could find this mo'fo's and f them up.
