This is for Active.com.  Forgot they handled the registration for a road race I was running.

I just noticed a charge on my cc and got a little worried as my card has been compromised in the past.  After reading other posts, I checked my records and noticed I signed up for the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in San Jose on that day and so the charge checked out.  Great to see that I could have peace of mind from reading your site.  Keep up the good work.

I saw a $59.95 charge on my debit card with this phone number. Im short and fat... so no marathons in my past or future... not sure why I was charged this. Have no idea how active advanage (whoever they are) got ahold of my cc number.

Beware - once you enroll in anything on this site they appear to charge you an annual membership fee of $59.95. It appeared on my card 1 month after signing up for an event. I called and they canceled the membership and credited my refund with no issues, but it should have never been charged in the first place.

Yeah no [***]! I am a disabled vet. I have NO LEGS!! What the hell race did I sign up for??? They are just stealing our money and finding a way to convince those who are stupid that it was their own fault! How are they not in jail or at least shut down??

Got the same $ 59.95 on my card, and I don't run marathons.  Are you sure about this marathon thing?

I signed up for the Philadelphia half marathon and was charged by this company ($161.75) so that is obviously at least one thing that they do.

I have a charge to my bank account for 59.95.  When I searched description online found it was from action.com site usually for Marathons.  I am 7 months pregnant and out of shape I wouldn't be signing up for any Marathons.

I just got charged on my Chase Visa for $117 for no reason; listed as ACT* City of Pasadena 877-228-4881 CA. I called that number but got answering machine mentioning about active.com. With still no idea what their phone number, I did reverse phone search, and found this website with so many of you in the same boat as me. How did active.com got my credit card info, I have no idea. These people are criminals!

My partner a charge on a credit card for "ACT Registration" with this number on it for $9. I received emails about ACT Registration under my email recently but flagged them as spam because I graduated from college years ago and did not register for any tests in the past decade!

Some sort of strange scam is going on here, as I don't have my partner's banking information.
