Same here.  They call 6 or 7 times a day. I finally picked up and they asked for my wife.  When I told them she's not here and asked who's calling they said sorry and hung up with out answering me.  The second time they called I said stop calling here and the guy said "sorry, we'll call back at a later date" and hung up before I could get out the words "No, don't call ever!"

I get calls from them 6 or 7 times a day too. However, they say nothing. Not a single word! It is so frustrating! How do I make it stop??

Received a call - I didn't answer, expecting it was a "spam" call...  probably someone looking for my former spouse - I get a lot of those.

Put a block on the number through your telephone provider...I used to get 4-5 per day - no message.
None since the block!

Called and person was unable to recognize an answering machine had picked up -Drrr---KNew my name--left NO message--will be blocking them

Just called again-----1 hour later-----want a donation for DAV -probably a scam !!!! ignore,block --DO NOT DONATE

Im tired of them calling so

My husband just got a call from these folks, saying they were the DAV.  Disabled American Veterans, an organization that he's a lifetime member of and he has donated to in the past.  He made the terrible mistake of donating before I could get the number looked up on line.  
I called our credit union and explained the problem, but because he used his debit card the charges cannot be reversed, and it was an instant charge.  It came out of the account in under 20 minutes.  We now have a watch on this account... and the manager at the credit union said she would try to track where the money has gone.  If it did not end up at the DAV somewhere, she said she would ask the bank's attorneys if he we have any grounds (besides the obvious fraudulent claim of who they are) to take them to court.

I just got  a call from them this morning @ 820a !!!  It seems that ever since the 1st call I got from the "Cancer Society' some months ago I have been getting new calls from new 800 numbers on a weekly basis.  I block them and some new group calls from another number.

This guy called saying he was representing a new Veterans Hospital, or something like that... I didn't stay on the line long.

Really????????????
Today, we are up to three calls already!  
I am going to see if I can block them without a charge from my phone provider.
Or, next time they call I will flip my helmett!

We just started getting calls from this number and they wouldn't talk to our answering machine.
I can only assume it was the bunch trying to collect saying they are representing disabled Vets, since they called yesterday twice from a different number.
I would never give money to any of these fly by nights' over the phone people.
Either donate your time or go directly to a VA facility and give.
Don't trust people that won't talk to you and keep hounding you for money!

Didn't answer, but called it back and an answering machine identified them as DAV solicitors, I really doubt it, about an hour later they called again...went into my phone provider and blocked it.

Calls several times a day. No message. Very irritating as my husband is an invalid and it stresses him, all these calls. From other numbers too. I have listed us on govt donotcall list but it takes weeks for it to kick in.
I'll try to block them but new numbers keep calling all the time.

I was able to locate the area code of this number. It is not a US or Can area code. It is located on an island, Mauritius, off the west coast of Africa. So, be aware. Probability of scam 95%. Whatever you do DO NOT ANSWER it may be a toll charge. This is someone soliciting donations,I suspect. I did not answer, just disconnected.

So tired of these calls!!!!!!! Seriously going to disconnect my phone soon grrrrr

I have no idea who this is...I just get tired of all the telemarketer calls.....I'm on the do not call register for all the good it does.

They call day after day & week after week. I never pick up the phone on any 800 number.

A man keeps calling from this number and asking for my wife.  When I ask who's calling he won't answer and when I ask what he wants he hangs up.
These people are seriously going to get someone in trouble doing this.
I totally trust my wife.  But suppose they call some psycho jealous husband?
They could be responsible for someone getting hurt, beat or worse.
