The Fair Debt Credit Practices Act prohibits collection agencies from calling after 9 PM and on holidays or at work.  Tape record their calls and then notify them you are pursuing it with the Federal Trade Commission.  If you have the proof, you can make them pay for their illegal procedures.  It's something like $1,000 per infraction the last I knew.

They did not leave a message identifying themselves, nor does their answering message contain any identification information

also got a call from 877-230-8414.  recorded message stating it was an urgent business matter and to return the call to another number (not the same as this one) and had business hours.  I did not call it back because I do not know whom the call is for.  I've received several calls for a man that does not live here so who knows who this one is for!  If they were to state a name i'm more willing to find out what its about!

These people are calling my relatives and leaving messages with them to have me call this number.  They need to stop immediately.

they keep calling and there is no one here by that name.  The last time they called, reverse look-up said it was Wells Fargo.  I did not get that this time.  I have reported them to the state attorney general because I'm on the do not call list.  I have never done nor do I plan to do business with them.

The message they leave is "must return this call at 877-230-8414" but when I do answer they have the same message? And the message sounds incomplete? The caller ID is different than the message number?
