Received the same text a few minutes ago. You can't get a live person, so I replied with an extremely vulgar text of my own. Probably no one will actually see it (likely an automated phishing program), but it made me feel better. Sad, now I am cursing a computer, pathetic :-)
This was actually a text message that I also received on my cell phone. The txt message said: customer.notification@visa.com/ "Card Block Alert". To find out why you receive this alert call 1-877-245-1472. Thank you. /
It is a SCAM. If you call the number it automatically tells you that it is from Credit Union and Card Services and their records indicate that your card has been restricted. It further asks you to stay on the line and then asks you enter you credit card number. Do not enter you credit card number. It is a phishing scam.
received the same text message, and according to my account my card is not blocked. i suggest calling your credit card company before replying or calling back to this number.
I just received the same text from visa.com. I actually called thinking it was my credit fraud alert but when it automatically asked to input my card number I said "yeah freakin right!" Hung up right away. I can't stand these attemps.
Holy cow. I'm so sick of these f***ing scammers. I get a new one every week it feels like. I got this same text and was very confused. Glad I googled this to find out!!
I got the same message from 3885 "customer.notification@visa.com/"Card Block Alert". To find out why you receive this alert call 1-877-245-1472. Why would my credit card company and the bank just text me?
