I dont know. They called me and left a message about a garnishment but never said their name or gave any other information.

Call back number for a scam. They claim to be with Advance Pay Plus payday loans.  They told me my husband owed $500 but now it has gone up to $2500 because we refused to pay. They wanted my card number so they could get money from me. I gave them part of it before I realized it was a scam. We never took out a payday loan from this company. I have contacted the company to let them know about the scam. They said the charges are from Sherman Freeman and Laura Logan and the loan is from 2009. And shame on me for not paying this for so long. And don't I know I could go to jail for nonpayment.  I have decided not to answer this number when they call to see what happens.  I contacted Advance Pay Plus to see what they have to say. I was promised an e-mail with my information but I never revieved that information.

This is a scam which has been reported to the Colorado AG's office.  They claim you have taken out a payday loan and did not pay it back.  They have fraudulently obtained (identity theft) all personal information from you also.

I received two calls yesterday one on my cell and the other on my work phone.  The call through as anonymous caller on my cell.  These two ladies claimed to be calling from PDLR- Pay Day Loan
Recovery.  They were calling about garnishing my pay.  They claimed everything would be alright when I told them that I did not take out this loan.  But it is all a scam.  When I called them back, they never identified the company's name.  I had to ask them.  At least this time, I spoke to Americans, but I trust no one.

these people called me from 1-877-258-1188 telling me they are from a company named PDLR group sounded professional but i have no payday loan. They have my social and where i work. What can be done.

I got a call from Melissa. She said I owed money towards a payday loan back in 2009. She couldn't give me a correct date or anythang. I asked for the people phone number and again she couldn't. She said the people was going to suspend my drivers licence if I didn't pay. I refused looked up what she did say and their was never any type of loan towards these people ever. Did call Melissa back but for some strange reason Melissa was not there wow I mean I just got through talking with her 5min ago. Th woman said her company name was just PDL (PAY DAY LOAN). That when I looked up just PDL and got a soccor page, looked up PAY DAY LOAN yea right got a list of loan companies. then yes I looked up thephone number 877-528-1188 thats when I saw she was a scam trying to get over a thousand plus money before I got off the phone. Thank God I didn't fall for this and thank you all for telling your stories.

I recieved a call from 877-358-1188 and they said they were from PDLR recovery group. I had a simular call from a 866 number three weeks ago. The women stated that I owed a on line loan payment dating back mto 2007. I checked my credit report and found nothing. The recent number I called and it was a canadian travel agency. Do not give these scamers anything on line, demand proof through the mail!

Received a second call from a different person this time. Mrs. Lang saying they received a wage garnishment for 25% of my paycheck. What can I do to stop this and clear up the matter. I don't want to have a wage garnishment attached to my paycheck

I've just started getting calls from PDLR as well. What is this group and where do they get our information? I haven't called back yet and am not sure if I should or what I should do. They are calling me at work...

i got a call to day from these people say i owe a payday loan to my dayday .com i have now payday loans she could not give me any info when i asked she said she emailed me this info but couldnt tell me right now. i hung up she called back i didnt andsew she left a message saying they where gonna go ahead with the garnishment of my wages. these people need to get a real job and quit hurrasing working poeple

I just received a phone call stating the company had received a wage garnishment.  A wage garnishment requires a court order and typically in order to get a court order the recovery company needs to take you to court or at least provide written notice that they will be filing a claim.  If you haven't received a notice then I would report the company to your local authorities and ignore the calls.

Claimed they were going to garnish my wifes wages if she didn't repay a pay day loan. We contacted the company they claim to be affiliated with and that said they use their own internal recovery system and don't use outside companies and that my wife had applied but never received a loan before ever. It's a scam. Don't give them anything.

got a call from a PDLR Group, phone number 1-877-258-1188 at my work on 4/15/11 at 12:05 pm. This is a scam and I have never in my life taken out a payday loan. They are suppose to stand for "payday loan recovery"

These people have called me many times saying i took out 2 different loans. They can't give you a address and i have called the police the attorney general and BBB they all say it is a scam.

I received a message from a frined of mine whom I used as a reference for a loan.  He called me today to day they had called him about a cash advance.  I called the number 877-258-1188.  I spoke to a Ms Garcia.  She said I needed to work out payment arrangments for a payday loan from 2010,  I asked her to send me the verification of the documents for the payday loan and she said she could nhot do that because it has been in collections and now referred to them.  I told her I never received any letters at all.  She said the balance from feesd and late charges was $2200 but said if I paid it by May 13, 2011 they would settle for $790,00.  This is bogus and is a scam, I'm not calling them back.

They told me they were going to garnish my wages if I did not have a payment in to them by the end of May  They were Pay Loan Recovery and their address is in Aurora IL. Mrs. something or another Said I owed $500.00 but 50% interest and fees the amount is no $1500.00 but they would settle for $790.00 Told her I would call her back but this is the number and for some reason it can't be located and neither can the business name in Aurora IL

I got the same phone call and we should be able to do something about this crap! why should we have to get these crazy phone calls?

Wow I just got one of these same calls at work yesterday from the same phone # a Ms.Felix who said I owed a payday loan from 2010 and could not give me the name of the company, said I owed about $1200 but they would settle for 790.00 right now or I had to call her back by tomorrow. I am glad I didnt agree or fall for this scam also and so glad I looked into this more!!

I was called and said I owe money for a payday loan and that they would settle for $500.00 dollars so I did it and now when I was trying to call to talk with Miss Hardy she was not there so then another woman came to the phone name of Miss Berry from the same comp. and that she was a loan officer too and that I can do the transaction with her
