Received a text to call this number regarding an account of ours. I hung up immediately.

Fake , maybe phishing !

I just got a text message from this number.  When I opted out, I got a message I would receive no further Service Messages from Citibank.  When I called this number listed in the reply message, the female Agent asked me for my account number. Big Red Flag!!  If it was truly Citibank texting, they would have only asked me for the last 4 numbers of my account.  She had a foreign accent such as Dominican or African also.  She did refer me t the number on the back of my card, but when I called Citibank Customer Service, the Agent knew nothing about the Brand Source Consumer card the text message was about. She also did not want the phone number associated with this text reply.
