This company calls my number non-stop for a person that does not live at my house.  I have told them there is no one here by the name they want, I have told them to put me on their do not call list......and still I get phone calls.  They are a debt collection company.

They are a collection agency; they will use all the tricks in the book to get any info from you, your family & friends. The collect for Student Loans among other things and are quite persistent.

Got a call from 877 289 7108. how do I stop these calls

Just received a very harrassing call from a Shekelia who stated that she works for Van Ru company and said that she was looking for a Nicole. I tried to proceed and tell her that Nicole did not work here, she would not accept this answer and continued to be very harrassing, rude and just down right nasty.   She said that she would not stop calling because obviously the number that she has is the number for this Nicole person and that we were lying to her.  This type of behavior is totally unacceptable from any type of business whether it is collections or not.

The best way to have these people stop is to pay your friggin bills!

I don't owe anybody anything!  Stop calling me!  How DO we get rid of them?

Does it occur to you "Big Dog" that the people they are calling have nothing to do with the people they are looking for?  I might have known someone with a similar name...25 years ago!  That doesn't mean I know them NOW!  This is a third rate debt collector that grasps at straws and harasses people who have nothing to do with any debt by any other person.

These people are RUDE. They continue to call asking for people who don't live here. I have reported them, and they still continue to call. I got calls at 11:30 PM! How can they get away with this type of behaviour?

Block the phone number either on your phone if you can or with your phone company provider.
